AVA'S POV
The house was so quiet and deserted. I thought it was strange. On a normal day, the kids would have been out here playing and making a hell of a noise but, today, it was empty. It was almost spooky.
I walked to the front door and ran the bell countless times but nobody answered. It looked very strange. I have never seen it this quiet.
"Lucas!" I called to him.
"Lucas!" I said again.
"Lucas!" I called again.
There was no reply. What could be wrong.
"Nancy! Dominic! Tanya?" there was still no answer.
I turned the door knob and the door didn't open. I pushed the door slightly and I could hear something inside moving around.
"Lucas!" I called again.
"Lucas?" I said.
"Lucas, please open up! It's Ava. " I knocked harder.
There was still no reply. I was frantic.
