I could care less. What was the point of working and earning big when there is no one to enjoy the proceeds with. No Sophia, no Claire, no Aiden.
I could only imagine how Sophia felt when she had to leave. If I am like this, then she suffered twice as much.
I hadn't eaten in days, I only cried, drank and drank. I had lost weight and felt weak and cold. But I didn't care. I wanted nothing more than to feel the warmth of Sophia's arm again. I missed her face, her gentle touch, her caring and loving eyes.
