Chapter 101
For the next few days Cheryl became blind, deaf and dumb. Any whee she went, she saw people point fingers and say things about her but she just went about her business like nothing was going on.
She was just returning from pazo's office. He had few instructions for her. She got back to her space and continued working. She had barely settled in when she heard a voice behind her. "How has the mighty fallen."
"Christ!" she mumbled to herself, rolling her eyes. But she kept on working, not acknowledging who it was.
"He's finally abandoned you hasn't he? I knew it was going to happen. It was just a matter of time. You thought you were special? Oh no! You're another of his fling. You're just one of his toys."
