CHAPTER SEVENTEEN One of the men had nearly reached us when he stumbled back into one of his compatriots. He squirmed and shrieked as he patted at his armor. “What’s wrong with you?” his cohort snapped as the other man pushed the frantic one off of him. “Something’s inside my armor!” he screamed as he thrashed about. His less-than-sympathetic companion opened his mouth to scold him, but his eyes widened and he began jumping about.
