Tulano performed his solo martial arts practice as directed, attended another stuffy dinner as required. He left his Master’s bed just after 2400 and walked down to the holding cells. He took a deep breath as he entered; it was difficult for him to be in any place of confinement. The cages felt wretched to him. As he expected, the guard was asleep in his chair, but he used a Mind command to make him sleep more deeply. There were no security cameras to disable, either.
