Amelia's heart pounded as she frantically searched for an escape route. She and her
little sister, Lily, were trapped in Xavier's grand mansion, with no clear way out. The
opulent decorations and lavish furnishings now seemed like prison bars.
Xavier's charming facade had fooled Amelia initially. He had swept her off her feet,
showering her with attention and gifts. But behind closed doors, his true nature
emerged. He was manipulative, controlling, and ruthless.
And now, he had set his sights on Lily.
Amelia's determination hardened. She would do anything to protect her sister.
"Lily, stay close," Amelia whispered, grasping her sister's trembling hand.
They crept through the labyrinthine corridors, avoiding detection. Xavier's men
patrolled the halls, their footsteps echoing ominously.
As they turned a corner, Amelia spotted a door slightly ajar. "In here," she urged Lily.
They slipped into the room, finding themselves in Xavier's study. Amelia swiftly scanned
the space, locking onto a phone on the desk.
Her heart skipped a beat. This could be their chance.
"Lily, keep watch," Amelia instructed, snatching the phone.
But as she dialed, a cold voice spoke from the shadows.
"You won't be leaving, Amelia."
Xavier emerged, his eyes glinting with malice.
Amelia's grip on the phone tightened. "We will, You can't keep us prisoner."
Xavier chuckled. "You're just pawns in my game. And pawns are expendable."
Lily whimpered, clinging to Amelia.
With a surge of adrenaline, Amelia hurled the phone at Xavier, momentarily distracting
him.
"Run!" Amelia shouted.
They sprinted out of the study, the sound of Xavier's laughter and pounding footsteps
closing in
Amelia and Lily fled through the mansion, desperate to find a way out. Every door led to
more corridors, more dead ends.
As they ran, Amelia's mind racing, she recalled snippets of conversation between
Xavier's men.
"...west wing...security...tunnel..."
A tunnel. Could it be their escape route?
Amelia yanked Lily into a nearby room, slamming the door shut.
"Lily, listen. We need to find the west wing. There's a tunnel."
Lily's eyes widened. "But how?"
Amelia scanned the room, spotting a ventilation grille.
"We'll crawl through the ducts."
Lily's face paled. "Are you sure?"
Amelia's resolve hardened. "We have no choice."
As they removed the grille, a faint hum filled the air. Amelia's heart sank.
Xavier's voice boomed through the intercom. "Amelia, you're running out of time.
Surrender now, and I might spare Lily."
Amelia's grip on Lily's hand tightened.
"Never."
Amelia and Lily crawled through the narrow ducts, dust choking their lungs. The air
grew thick with tension.
Suddenly, Lily gasped. "Amelia, look!"
A vent cover swung open, revealing a glimpse of the outside world of Freedom.
But as Amelia reached for the vent, a hand grasped her ankle.
Xavier's men.
Amelia kicked wildly, but the grip tightened.
Lily screamed.
In a desperate bid to shake off their captor, Amelia flung herself forward, dragging Lily
with her.
They tumbled out of the duct, landing hard on the floor.
As they scrambled to their feet, Amelia spotted a door.
The west wing.
The tunnel.
Their last hope.
But as they sprinted toward the door, it swung open.
Xavier stood before them, a sinister smile spreading across his face.
"Welcome to your new home."
Amelia's heart sank.
They were trapped.
And Xavier's true intentions were only just beginning to unravel...
If only she hadn't known this man maybe she wouldn't agree he is the devil himself
She remembered first time in high how quiet Xavier was but also sinister
He made advances on me but I declined some boys bullied him so much back them
which led to him leaving school
But I'll never forget his words” When I return to each of you I swear I won't be the same some the last 2 years I heard he went for the boys
He tracked them and dealt with them mercilessly. he made sure the suffer they went
through was twice his own then and what still amazes me is how he got to control most
things in the country
I told him,” Xavier, please, I'm sorry, we need to talk!”
“Finally making sense”
“Would you answer all my questions”
“If I have the answer why not”
“Have you been the one all along”
“Yes” he replied without an expression
“May I know why”
“No”
“Why are you holding us hostage”
“I am not”
“So please let us go”
“No”
“Why”
“You remembered how I confessed my feelings back then Amelia
I loved you, it was fake or a prank but what did you do to me you blatantly refused
my proposal”
“Xavier I didn't wanna fake love you, I had no feelings then I wanted to focus on my
studies”
“Maybe you should have fake-loved me it might have made be better
But that's past anyway by the way I have you here now so you can satisfy me all I want”
“What the heck Xavier you can't turn me into your s*x toy”
“Enough chit chat” someone interrupted us ohh it was Rose holding that Harley Quinn rod
“Come over here Amelia and Brenda you're safe now”
We made to move but Xavier did nothing I was more than surprised
“Why didn't he say anything” I turned to whisper to Rose's ear,as I turned I saw a troupe of
policemen standing behind her
But when we both turned Xavier was nowhere to be found, he escaped and I knew we're
safe now but it's for the meantime
Before he returns for us and we might not be able to escape then I got a message it had
It was rose “girl why are you texting me while you're here”I questioned her
“I didn't I left my phone home”
Then I dawned on me Xavier was at it again
“Hello dear Amelia Xavier still loves you”
The phone fell off my hand…
