Chapter 11 Sebastian scrubbed himself clean and flopped into bed. He lay his arm over his eyes and tried to calm himself. Charles Hawkins was going to be the death of him. Little by little he had come out of that schoolmaster’s shell, and in doing so, had only made his infatuation worse. Because now he knew that beneath that gloomy frosty exterior was an intelligent, kind, passionate man. His passion for his businesses was catching, and the discussions that they had shared had fired Sebastian’s imagination in a way that nothing ever had. He knew that part of his interest stemmed from the fact that they got along famously, and at times there was something almost like respect in Hawkins’ eyes as they talked.
