Charles stroked Ulysses’ ears and stared out of the window. It had been almost a week since he’d given to his desire and in a week his life had been turned upside down. Sebastian, that was how he had come to think of him, Sebastian slept in his bed, they made love every night, often more than once, and the shelter, the warmth, and the love that simply radiated from the man were addictive. Not only that, wrapped up in bed with him meant he slept so much better. The nightmares were still there. They still woke him in a panic, but Sebastian just held him, and it went away faster.
