"I kinda want to kiss you right now," Ethan said, his voice low and husky, pupils darkening with raw intent as he stared into Jamie's eyes. Her breath caught, a flush rising to her cheeks. "What's stopping you?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper. He hesitated, heart pounding in his chest. "I don't know what we are." Jamie's gaze softened. "What do you want us to be?"
