Damon blurted out.
"Shhh… She needs to rest before you talk to her. She has just been through a lot."
Belinda said to Damon.
"You need to talk to her."
Damon said, before leaving the room.
When he left, I knew that Bel was still going to say something, but I let her take her time.
"You are going to be a mother."
She said, excitedly.
"I know, right?"
I replied.
"But I'm so scared. I don't know the number one thing about parenting."
I said.
I was subtly trying to assert my case that I can't do it alone and I will need the help of a partner. Maybe she can help Damon see that I need his help.
