I looked up from my desk and asked her.
"What's up? Why are you looking morose?"

Jane replied.
"This is not nothing. The Jane I know would have lit this office with so much fun that I'd have been choking on it by now. It's obvious that something is bothering you. By the way, where did you go? I went searching for you throughout yesterday for our hangout and even your friends were clueless."
I asked.
