I walked back to my office after just escorting Mark out of the kingdom. Even though I really wanted him to stay back with us, Father will never allow it to happen. His pride is too big to let him go back on his word.
I just kept on meditating on the things he told me about his real father while he was going. Because of the bad blood between my father and Mark's father, that is why father detested Mark so much. I'm sure he thinks that Mark will want to deceive him like the way his father, Alpha Miles did, that cost him his kingdom.
The only thing that I did with Mark was to make a pact with each other to be there for each other when we needed each other the most. He is one wolf that I know that I will miss the most.
