Aadhya Mehra

"Uhm..hello" He talked..OMG...he freaking talked . He was sitting on the bed and me standing near it . "Hi" that was the only thing that came out of my mouth .

"You studied in DAIS right." I nodded in yes .

Oh god . Did he studied there?? Was he my senior ?? Oh s**t , then I'm trapped .

"I also studied in DAIS"

Wonderful .

"What do you do" I think he's sensing my nervousness and trying to ease this awkwardness . "Hmm .. BA English , 2nd year"

"What do you do?" If he's trying to ease the situation then I also should .

"I'm a ship engineer . Why are you standing . You sit please " Aww I like his behaviour . I nodded and sat down . We're a keeping a decent distance between us .

"Is it your first time "

"Uh I mean this proposal thing " I nodded again coz nothing is coming out of my mouth .

" I'm sorry if I'm rude . No. Can I ask you something" he looked tensed - not like me . He's a confusion whether to ask me or not . I nodded .

"I'm sorry if I'm rude or anything but do you have any affair"

What the hell .. Really do I look like I have one !!????

"No . You don't look like one . It's just that your eyes are telling something . It's red , swollen so..."

Did I just voiced my thoughts . Oh god what will he think about me . Omg is he hearing this too . He was scratching his neck and his ears were pink . Oh so that's the sign that he's embarrassed . Maybe .

Wait . How does he knew that I cried . I thought my sister covered it well .

"No . I don't have one ." I said and he - looks relieved , but for what .

"Is your parents forcing you , then" Is he a mind reader . What should I say . I cant let him feel that my parents are bad . So I did what I'm best at . I nodded no .

"Ohkay .I forgot to say I'm Rehan " He said forwarding his hands with a smile plastered on his face . Oh that's cute .

Wait ... Wasn't I crying few minutes because of this proposal and now I'm ogling him. Really Aadhya!!

"I'm Aadhya " I shook his hands .

"Do you know anything about me apart from my name and job?" I nodded noo

Boy now only I got to know about your name and job .

"Ohkay so I'm Rehan Malhotra . My father Raj Malhotra and mother Sunita Malhotra are doctors . I'm their eldest child and I have 3 siblings . The first is Ved , who's in 11th , then Liya , in 10th and then the youngest one Rhea who's in 4th and about you??"

I opened my mouth but the hell nothing is coming out. I coughed and looked at him . "Hm. I'm Aadhya Mehra . My father Anil Mehra is running hotel business and mother Devki Mehra is a housewife . I have two elder siblings . My bhai Arjun Mehra and he's married to Niti , my bhabhi . Then my di Janvi Mehra , she's also married , to Nikhil Sharma . And my bhai has a daughter Samaira who's in 4th ."

Congrats Diya . You finished a whole para without any troubles . My mind applauded .

He opened his mouth to say something when my sister knocked the door and said "time up" .

"So bhai tell . Did you like the girl " Liya asked sitting in the backseat while me and Ved were in front .

"You're too small to put your nose in 18+ things" Rehaan replied while taking out his phone and handing it to Ved.

"Call Mom and ask what does Rhea want" He said and Liya frowned.

"I'm also your sister and you never buys anything for me " She complained.

"Ved I bought a snickers pack day before yesterday and you ate that -he nodded no- , I didn't ate , also mom and Dad . Since Rhea was in Chacha's house she also didn't ate . Then who'll it be " Rehan smirked while Ved looked at Liya with a teasing smile who sat folding her arms to her chest and looking out of the window .

"So how was it " Raj asked sitting on the couch and looking at his children.

"It was awkward " Ved replied

"Tooo much . I'll never go again to these things . Everyone's eyes were on us ." Liya added .

"They were watching our every move dad . And how did bhai managed it for 15 times. He really has got patience " Ved said .

"So did he like the girl " Sunita asked while helping Dadi to sit on the couch .

"When Liya asked him , he told her not to poke her nose in such things. So i didn't ask . Oh he's coming you can ask now" Ved said looking at Rehan who was coming while holding his little sister's hand .

" I know what this discussion will be . So my answer is i like the girl but " Rehan paused looking at everyone " but I can't decide if she's the one for me just by talking to her for few minutes " .

"Okay . I'll inform them that you need to talk " His father replied and Rehan nodded .

'Did I get her habit of nodding' he asked himself and replied with a okay .

" One more thing . This thing will move only forward if she said yes " he remembered her swollen eyes which she thought she covered it well . "I myself want to hear it from her " he added .
