Aadhya Mehra It's 01:00 AM and we have been here for two hours and no one has come outside the labour room. Di's in-laws are also here. Everyone was praying for both of them. Hope she and the child comes out safe. God. I felt my neck heating up and that someone is looking at me. I turned my head to see Rehan staring at me, standing near the rail. His arms were folded to his chest and looking at me. Rehan's dad went home to drop Ved and will return back. I really liked his dad, he talked with me and is so friendly. He didn't had that strict father-in-law aura, he was cool. I looked at my family and they were all taking. I slowly escaped and went near him. He was smiling seeing me coming. He raised his eyebrows at me, asking why did I come? I shrugged my shoulders and stood near him. 'You're alone here. So I thought you might need some company' 'Okay. Do you mind a walk with me' He asked pointing with his hands and I nodded smiling. 'Ill show you a view' He said as we stopped. Infront of us was a glass window, from where we could see all other surrounding buildings, roads but when you look up, there's the moon and stars shining. It was so beautiful to see. 'It's beautiful' I said and he looked straight at me with a smile. 'What?' 'Nothing. It's beautiful, indeed' He said rubbing his neck. 'We didn't knew this hospital was yours. We come here often and Samaira was born here too' I said as we started walking again. 'It was Daada's dream to see Dad as a doctor but he couldn't be here when became one, so dad made this hospital in his memory' 'Oh, I'm sorry. But your Daadi must be so proud' 'Yes, she's. You know why I didn't go love marriage?' He asked me and I nodded no. I really want to know this. 'My Daada was a farmer and uneducated, and Daadi was educated, not much like ours but only how much she could at that time, she never wanted to get married at 17 but her family forced her to do so. When their marriage was fixed, he fell head over heels for her and he worked hard and bought her a bangle, and gifter her that without everyone's knowledge. My Daada wanted to study but his father had told him to focus on farming, then after marriage, Daada fought with his father and made Daadi to go for higher studies. She's a teacher, you know. And she taught him how to write, read etc. She taught him what a signature was because he used to do the thumb impression, and then he made his signature which was his name and on top her name. There is a picture of it back home, I'll show you sometime' I nodded at him. His Daada was a man of dreams. 'Theirs was not love marriage but love after marriage. And growing up hearing their story, I kinda wanted to have one like that' He said as we were just some distant from my family. 'Do you think you've got one like that' I asked with my heart thudding. "c'est oui" I blushed at his answer. And he laughed looking at my face. I'm liking him more. Rehaaaaannnnnn!!! We were back near the rail and talking when the nurse came out. 'It's a baby boy. Both mother and son are fine' Nurse said smiling and we all hugged each other. 'Congratulations Masi' He whispered near my ear and I shivered with his close proximity. He had a smirk on his face and I couldn't see anything except his face, that moment. With that smirk, with that black t-shirt, with that trimmed beard and disheveled hair he was looking like a Greek god. If he was this handsome then how will our children be. Goddddd Did I really thought that. For one second come to your sense Aadhya. I mentally smacked myself and he came little closer to me. 'You can stare at me as long as you want but not now when everybody's watching us' That moment, I wanted to run Love, Ziya
