Part 10

Despite being scared to death, Peter surprisingly feels comfort when this person's hand lands on his face, so he calms down and remains in complete silence and still in this pitch blackness. Then out of the burrow, voices began to grow louder, just as voices becomes clear and clear, it is assumed to be the wolves howling, but in a unique and unusual way. Soon, the wolves reach the same place where Peter once catches his breath, then suddenly, from the outside, the wolves that arrived that sniffing, then from the shadows, a muscular built man emerges with the same missing kids both Katherine and Fathima on his back, he puts them down on the surface where as two gIant wolves grab each by their mouth, then they sprint towards the water and onto the other side. Suddenly the muscular man too senses something unusual, but ignores it and proceeds back into the shadows with the rest of the wolves. Just as they go, one of the wolves gIant paw lands above the burrow so hard that it cracks through, blooming light into the burrow just as they vanish into shadows, this gives an opportunity for Peter who's in burrow all along to glance at his rescuer, the moonlight shines through and is revealed to be a beautiful girl with bright blue eyes. Peter looks astonished looking at her with complete silence. Noticing this, the girl looking back at him slowly takes her hand from his mouth. "They're gone, you can leave." whispers the girl. Peter remains still in complete shock looking at her eyes. Noticing this, she snaps her fingers which brings Peter back into the world. "Sorry, what?" asked Peter in a whisper tone. "They left, you can go." replied the girl. "Right, sure, course." said Peter as he begins to go, but then stops, then turns back. "This is embarrassing, but… I have no idea which way I came from." said Peter. The girl remains still and doesn't give a single indication. Peter realizes she wasn't able to understand what he meant, he begins to turn back and walks out of the burrow and bush, then he clears some of the dust that rests in his hands and clothes, he looks around and walks to random direction. Before he could begin, nearby a wolf howls at him to which he immediately turns back. It appears to be a wolf that came out of the same bush he came but with a same crystal blue eyes he once glanced at. The wolf grins, then it signals its head that the direction is the opposite way and walks towards the direction it pointed. Peter, despite being scared to death, doesn't feel the same towards the wolf, without a single thought he follows it, believing wholeheartedly it will lead him home. They walk through the woods and below a cliff. Peter is so anxious, but somewhat scared, not days ago he was fighting one, now one is helping him escape. After few moments of silence, he approaches closer to the young wolf. The wolf grins back to which Peter quickly steps back, then the wolf, turns forward and walks. "So, turning into wolf huh? That's pretty awesome, normally I would be scared to s**t but then, weird has kind of a normal to me too." said Peter. The wolf doesn't respond and proceed forward. Peter again too takes a step closer to the wolf, but it doesn't respond and ignores. Peter taking it as approval, becomes excited. "Thank you." said Peter. After few steps, they finally reach to the main road where Peter's bike is parked. Peter is surprised that the girl or wolf knew where his bike was and lead straight to it through a different way. Peter rushes to his bike and immediately takes a water bottle from his bag and quenches his thirst. Then, the wolf realizing her job is done, prepares to turn back. Seeing this, Peter who was drinking water, quickly stops and approaches towards her. "Wait!" Yells Peter. The wolf stops, but doesn't turns back. "I… I..um.. (sighs) thank you, I... don’t know who you are but.… Thank you." said Peter. After hearing this, the wolf once again begins to proceed. "Wait." yells Peter once more. Surprisingly she stops. "I... um…not…one for talker but… you are not alone, and you don't need to be anymore, I trusted you and you brought me safe, but if you trust me, meet me by the abandoned building west of here at dusk, tomorrow." said Peter. The wolf remains still, then proceeds forward without looking back into the shadows, disappearing into thin air. "This keeps getting weirder and weirder..." whispers Peter as he gets on his bike. Moments pass as Peter reaches his home, where he notices Clay standing outside almost going to call but stops when he sees Peter. Peter parks his bike and approaches Clay. "Where the hell have you been?" asked Clay. "Stuff, I'm sorry, it took longer than..." said Peter as he quiets down when clay hugs him to his shock. "Um, sorry?" added Peter while being hugged by Clay. Clay breaks the hug and pats on his shoulder. "It’s alright, call me next time alright?" replied Clay. "Oh Kay?" replied Peter. "Come on." said Clay as he leads him to their house while from afar the wolf with blue eyes watches him, then as he goes inside, she goes vanishes into shadows. The following day arrives as Jim and Griffin are staring at their school from outside fully empty for the first time. "Never thought I would see the day this place would be empty, even when they give holidays, idiots would make some kind of programs or something, you know?" said Jim. "Proms." replied Griffin. "They have proms on holidays? What kind of sick school is this?" asked Jim. "What? No? On prom days this place used to be empty like this." said Griffin. "Oh." replied Jim. Just then Eve and Ilayda arrive on Eve's car. They both get down from the vehicle and notice Peter is still missing. "Where is Peter?" asked Ilayda. "Said he'd be there." said Griffin. "Wait, he said you he'd be there?" asked Jim. "No?" Replied Griffin. "Then why did you say he said he'd be there?" asked Jim. "Dude I don't know, it sorta slipped out, you informed him, right?" asked Griffin. "Yeah." said Jim. "What did he reply?" added Eve. "Why do you care?" asked Jim. "Stop it both of you, Ilayda do you have it?" asked Griffin. "Yup, here it is." said Ilayda as she shows it from her hand. "Great, what did you do with it?" asked Jim. "Nothing." replied Ilayda. "You have the ability to read minds and you didn't do anything? Not suspicious at all." replied Jim. "I didn't do anything, it's not like I could control minds." said Ilayda. "Who said anything about minds?" asked Griffin. "Or controlling." said Jim just as they notice Peter racing in his bike and arriving to the scene.
