"I'm Mary, former Chief engineer in specialized robotics and automation in CiSl Tech, now, unemployed." said Mary. "She didn't ask about your history with CiSl." said Griffin. "So it wasn't a dream? The part about the Amaranthine? It was all real? And why do I get the feeling like I stumbled in to the comic book?" asked Kaityln. "Relax, I'm not a superhero, though Mary here, dubs me to be, but.. like I said before, I had no idea you were going to be there." said Griffin. "I don't know what to say…But if you are here doing Vigilante works at DC because of some stupid stone, what about your education? you should be at school." said Kaityln. "I.. can't, this stone chose us for a reason, it chose me Kaityln, it's alright if I call you Kaityln right? Sorry I didn't ask earlier." said Griffin. "But why this.. crime fighting? Shouldn't you get like a actual job, instead of whatever this is." said Kaityln. "I can't, until I find Lynede." said Griffin. "Yep and we're on it, we're this close, much close, like actual close." said Mary. "So you keep saying." whispers Griffin. "Lynede, the girl who went missing right? The one who warned you all?" asked Kaityln. "Yeah, well, I didn't tell you all the details while we were going, didn't think you listened to it attentively either but, after Peter sent her with Jim, he took her to some doctor he knew, but next day, she was nowhere to be found, we searched for her everywhere, and Ilayda, but about a month later, there was a call, asking Peter to help, he confirmed it was Lynede's, wolf boy couldn't leave his tribe alone so I volunteered, and it lead me all the way from Ceuvest to DC, where I met Mary." said Griffin. "Hey, I found you, if it weren't for me, you'd be stuck in that train station booth your whole life, asking people have you seen this person?" said Mary. "Yeah I guess I owe you a thanks." said Griffin. But I don't get it, why don't you want to say Jacody Peter is alive, doesn't he has the right to know?" asked Kaityln. "I understand, I was there Kaityln, but like I said before, it was Peter's decision, he begged us not to say, besides, things between me and Peter aren't in nice shape now." said Griffin. "Teenagers." said Mary. "Anyway, coming to the present problem at hand if that's all right with you?" asked Griffin. "Yeah, it's.. alright." replied Kaityln.  "Okay, it's been a while since I've been in track with this people, whoever they are, they do kidnap a lot of people, it's definitely linked to the Ceuvest missing persons case, but that's all I know." said Griffin as he lists out the details in the computer.. "These people, they wanted me, they said they could help me I think, I was their target, but why go all the way to blasting pentagon just to get me?" asked Kaityln. "Maybe, they didn't want you, they wanted you prevent you?" replied Mary.  "Could be, but I need to know for sure, where are they now?" asked Kaityln. "Let me check… Beep, got it, last seen in eastern part of California? In casino?" asked Mary. "And why am I hearing this now?" asked Griffin. "Dude, it's not my fault, you're going cape fighting around the city, all you have to do, is ask, like Kaityln did, or is it Mayor Kaityln?" asked Mary. "More like kicked out of her office mayor, I'm coming too, I need answers." said Kaityln. "I can't, I'm not letting you in the hands of those assholes again." said Griffin. "Neither am I, I am very lonely here, I need friends." said Mary. "You're trying to kick her out at first, now you need friends?" asked Griffin. "Not helping, listen Kaityln, mayor or ex mayor I guess, you can't put your life at risk again, those bastards attacked the pentagon just to get you, besides, you can watch it from here, it's aren't that boring watching from the side screen, it's like watching a movie first person but characters actually die.. which is kind of..well you get the point." said Mary.  "She's right, some, we can't lose you, I'll be there, bring the bastard to you." said Griffin. After a brief thinking, Kaityln agrees to stay behind, leaving crime fighting to Griffin. Meanwhile, in Wolfcre, the crew mourns for the very being that was sent to kill them. While the rest of the bodies are put to fire, Ilayda's body is being prepared for a proper funeral. Jim is drowned in sorrow and guilt of being the murder that killed his own friend, seeing him in tears, Eve goes to reconcile him. "You're okay?" asked Eve. Jim remains in cold silence. "Sorry, shouldn't have asked that, we can't change the past Jim, it's not like you could teleport yourself to yesterday." said Eve. "You're a terrible talker." said Jim. Eve realizes she is making Jim feel worse, just as she prepares to leave, Jim holds her hand. "Stay…please." said Jim as tear reins down his eye. Despite being surprised, Eve does not react much about it. "Of course." said Eve as she sits beside him. After a moment of silence, Jim opens his mouth. "I don't get it, why would she attack us, sucks to be the one who actually killed her but." said Jim before being interrupted by Eve. "You didn't kill her Jim, whatever she was, that's not our friend, it was something else." said Eve. "Yeah, but she did look like her, what would Ilayda's parents say?" asked Jim. "They know you didn't have a choice, you protected Jacody and yourself, you did the right thing Jim." said Eve.  "Then why don't I feel like it?" asked Jim as a Clansmen approaches them. "Everything is set, we're waiting for you both." said the Clansmen. "Give us a few minutes, we'll be there." said Eve as the Clansmen bids his farewell and leaves. "Come on." said Eve as she gets up. "I can't be there." said Jim. "You should, Ilayda would want you to." said Eve. "Ilayda is dead, it's not right, just, pay my respects for her." said Jim as he rushes off from the scene, in to the forest.  Meanwhile at the Bran Castle, the Commander is being kept in the cell deep in the dungeon while his squadmates are taken for t*****e one by one. Screams of the people are quite clear why, since it is the plea of the people who ventured in to the fort, now being tortured by their jailers. Suddenly the person who was tortured all this time is dragged back and thrown to his cell and his warden turns towards the Commander as he watches them with hatred but feeling weak and unable to fend back. The blood-thirsty warden approaches the Commander as he enters his cell. He takes out his bullwhip and starts striking the Commander. Despite severe a***e, the Commander does not even shed a tear, only hatred is seen in his eyes as he is being whipped brutally. The warden stops and takes a breath. The Commander looks at him, getting tired after all his effort. "Are you done?" asked Commander. Hearing this, the Warden enrages and grabs his neck, and almost sinks his fangs into him, but realizing his master wanted him alive, the Warden drops him down, and grabs his hand and pulls him out of the cell. He is taken far away from his cell and put in to a another dark room and the door is shut. Feeling weak, the commander remains lied down, shivering over the pain but remains alives, after a gulp, he crawls over to find anything that may sooth his pain but gives up after a long crawl, he almost shuts his eyes but he notices the same man approaching him and kneeling down to check on him, he lifts his sleeve and bites off his own hand and gives it to the commander's mouth. The Commander becomes disgust over his blood as he turns away. "Drink, it will heal you…" said the man. "Piss off." replied the Commander. Hearing his reply, the man lifts the commander's head slightly by pulling his hair and force feeds him and drops him down. The Commander spits, but a few drops already entered his body, healing him slowly. The man chains him up to the nearby wall and he punches him one last time. "I told you to back away, well, your men at least, they're stupid enough to follow you, just like you're stupid enough to lead them." said the Man revealing his appearance as he drags the Commander face to face. The Commander almost spits but is thrown away like he's a football to the corner.  "The name's Ivar, the only reason you're still alive is because you haven't released that b***h out of the cell, otherwise, I would have beaten you to death, might as well do that now." said Ivar who starts beating him with his leg. "Stop." yells Commander, which Ivar obeys.  "What? Afraid you're going to die? You won't be, I won't let you die soon, meatbag!" yells Ivar as he continues beating him. After beating him, Ivar takes a break, sitting in his chair as the Commander gasps for his life. "What …do….you….want?" asked the Commander.
