Despite being outnumbered by people with guns and Vampiric Abilities, Griffin is invincible. He smashes out the rest of the shooters and kicks away the sofa at the guy firing with a pistol.

Another vampire knocks him out by a severe blow to his ankle but Griffin gets up and just as he grabs him from front, Griffin grabs his head and tears it off, finishing off the last of the attackers. the lights come back on and Griffin remains in a b****y room where no one except him is standing. "You made the room, little red, cool." said Mary. "He's in the room." said Kaityln.

Griffin bashes his way into the room where Riley is lying down, unconsciously. Griffin checks on him and realizes he had gone on overdose on drugs. "He won't be waking, I'll bring him there, but how?" asked Griffin. "Simple, jump out of the balcony." said Mary.

"What?" asked Griffin and Kaityln chorus. "Remember about the gliding controls I've installed in your suit? Try it now." said Mary. "You've installed gliding controls on his suit?" asked Kaityln. "Yeah, a long time ago, but didn't serve any purpose till now, he always kept fighting on the streets." said Mary. "But I'm not sure about this Mary, we haven't tried it right?" asked Griffin.

"Yeah but do you want to go back in the same way you came, with a body in your hand and all that blood?" asked Mary. "She's right, you don't have a choice, you got this Griff." said Kaityln. "Yup, what she said, again." said Mary. Griffin carries Riley and gets ready to jump. Suddenly the alarm trips off. "Now or never, go!" said Mary.

Griffin screams as he jumps out of the building, then screams even more, then the gliding controls activate, automatically making him gain a control of himself.

"This…is… so…cool…we should….do…this..often." Screams Griffin in comm. "Yeah, tone down the volume, loudmouth, you're welcome by the way." said Mary.

Meanwhile at Wolfcre, the people are gathered for the funerals of the people beloved by them the most, along with Ilayda, who is also given a burial among them. The bodies are cleaned and woven in white cloth and bandaged over their wounds, everyone, except Eve and Jim are present, just then Eve enters the funeral and is welcomed by Jacody.

"Where is Jim?" asked Jacody. "He is, heartbroken." said Eve who gives a nod, approving to begin the funeral. The bodies are lifted above the burial grounds dug for them as the song of wolves is being sung in tribute to them. Each of them pay their respects by pouring flowers on their grave, purifying their journey as they enter the afterlife.

Then the ones dearest to them are sent to see their faces one last time, while Ilayda's parents are not here, Peter and Eve takes their place and pay their respects, sprinkling the water of Le'i on to them.

Their bodies are slowly being sent to the grave and the people dearest to them are pouring back the sand, burying them. After the burying is done, Reries, the keeper of Wolfcre and mentor of Peter steps in front of the people.

"Today we are gathered here to pay our respects to the dear brothers and sisters fallen we lost due to the attack. As many who fell today we our people, Ilayda Parker, a good friend of our leader, one of the people who strived to save Wolfcre from Declan's regime has also taken away from us, she may not be our blood, but her effort to free us will not go unnoticed, and Vyrd Cohen, Maria Antonia, AdrIana Johns, Victor Floyd and Antony Wilson who were the brothers and sisters we know and loved, now taken away from us… Whoever these people are, wherever they came from, they were not welcome here, these people came in to our lands uninvited, they murdered, tortured our people, they turned one of our leader's dearest in to one of their pawns, this cannot be forgiven, as the keeper of Wolfcre, I urge our leader to take a decision, before it is too late." said the Keeper.

After hearing this, Peter too steps in front of the people. "The keeper is right, they came into our home, took our people, turned one of our own against us, we are disgracing our ancestors if we let this be, I do not want violence, but I won't sit by while they spill my people's blood, in the name of our land, in the name of our friends, in the name of the wolves of Wakefield Falls, I hereby declare war on the Vampires, let it be known that if they step on our land again, it will be a step closer to their deaths." said Peter. Hearing this, Jacody and Eve's faces becomes shocked and concerned over what this decision could mean for days to come.

"This is not enough, Declan was right, we need to strike back, staying here is like a sheep flock waiting for s*******r, they will keep thinning our tribe to make their job easier, the only way to finish this is to return with twice the mighty force they sent." said Byron, the brother of Vyrd.

"Declan was a fool, he disrespected our ancestors and took us down to a dark path and imprisoned me when I saw the truth, if you wish to follow his way, do so, but do not think you'll be welcome here again." said the keeper.

"Keeper if I could speak?" asked Peter. "Yes, of course." said Reries. "The vampires are hiding themselves amongst the humans, right now the humans are confused as us, the military force of DAWNEGARD will turn their target towards us if we intervene, I know it isn't the way of the wolves to stay behind, but we have no choice, launching an attack on enemies we do not know fully will only make things worse." said Peter.

"Then what would you have us do? Seeking violence may not be our way, but siting by waiting for a another attack will result in more deaths of our people." said Byron. "I… you're right, which is why I've come to another decision as well." said Peter. "What is it?" asked Byron. "With the consent of the people, I would like to go back to my world and deal with this threat, once I'm done, I'll come back as leader of the wolves again." said Peter.

This words come as a shock, since no leader has given the idea to leave his tribe once he is chosen as the leader. "Silence, all of you." said the keeper. "Why would you want to leave the pack? We're stronger together." said one of the people. "We are, but I like I said before, leading an entire pack into Ceuvest would draw unwanted attention, this is your home, you should stay here and guard it, but I belong to both worlds, it is my duty to protect both wolves and humans from this threat." said Peter.

Still, this doesn't lead to a conclusion point in the tribe. "What is the meaning of this? it is the decision of our leader to go to war while we guard our home for him, it is a difficult decision to do so, yet he is not willing to go without your consent, did you not join Declan in his so called conquest of the world? Declan did not ask, he ordered, yet our alpha requests our permission for his journey, is this not enough to show how much he loves our clan?" asked Reries.

"You are right Keeper, but our alpha is not here, in his home, who will serve as it's guardIan?" asked Byron. "Until I am back, I choose Byron to be in my stead, if the keeper agrees." said Peter.

"The keeper agrees, and the people?" asked Reries. The people come to a resolution as they bid their approval by kneeling. "Very well then, safe travels Peter." said Reries. "Thank you Keeper, thank you all." said Peter as he heads off with Jacody and Eve. "Come on, let's get Jim." said Peter as he leaves.

Meanwhile in the entrance of Bran Castle, the commander steps out of the fort, with blood of his enemies over his body and a wooden stake at his hand, the soldiers stationed at the entrance immediately tend to the Commander as he falls down. Several moments pass as the fort is being liberated by the DAWNEGARD. Soldiers are retrieving all the books and scrolls found, even the prisoner they found was shifted to their facility.

The Commander who is being treated slowly wakes up seeing Agent Diana seated beside him. "Diana?" asked the Commander. "Yeah, I'm back chief, can't be said the same for you I guess." said Diana. Commander smiles.
