"Excellent, Diana, I would like to state what is exactly is DAWNEGARD, you still remember it?" asked the Doctor. "Of course, Department of Advanced Weaponry and Network of Expertise in Global Anti-Supernatural Regulation Directorate." replied Diana.

"Good, do you know why you are here?" asked the doctor. "I… was... Comprised, without authorization led an assault, which led to my…suspension, and my... Life, I suppose." said Diana. "Do you remember who comprised?" asked the doctor.

"I…. I can't remember, I... I am sorry I can't...” cried Diana as she pushes herself to remember what had actually happened with the Commander watching from the window. Suddenly a well-dressed man, who looks to be a high-ranking official, too approaches him.

"26 of my people are in hospital, one of my best agent comprised, and I haven't got a single clue who did this, and why but thanks to them, now I’m forced to bear a truce with those wretched wolves." said the Commander.

"Sir, the status report is ready." said the Agent as he hands over a document which the Commander analysis. "You've did Electroshock over 5 times?" asked the Commander. "It is the only procedure which made progress through her recovery.," said the Agent.

 "No wonder, she forgot everything, I don't care what you do, I want complete data on what we're dealing with here, extract as much as you can from her while she is still breathing, got it?" replied the Commander as he hands over the document.

"Roger that sir." said the Agent as the Commander leaves the scene. As he leaves, from the observation room to corridor, many victims are screaming and begging to let them out as they are being detained along with Agent Diana. "Shut up!" yells the Commander as he requests for his chopper. 

Meanwhile, posters of missing persons are swarming all over town as Jim rides over to Jacody's house in Griffin's Van. Just as he reached his place, he finds the once neat and tidy garden now looks abandoned just as the road.

He parks the Van beside Jacody's dusted car and gets off it, approaching the door."Mr Clay! It's me Jim, just wIlayda check how are you holding up?" said Jim as he rings off several times, but no one answers, he slightly pushes to which the door opens, indicating the door was open after all. "Mr. Clay! Clay are you there? Detective?" Yells Jim as he searches for Jacody.

He searches everywhere but is unable to find Jacody, just as he is about to give up, he looks over the bathroom and peeps in only to find Jacody lying in the bathtub, with wine bottles and dirt everywhere. "What the.." said Jim as a bottle slips from the sink and blasts into pieces, yet Jacody remains unconscious.

Several moments pass as Jim somehow drags Jacody out of the bathtub and drags him to the living. "H….ve…it…..it's…(coughs)" murmured Jacody as Jim lands him in the couch. Still unconscious, Jim decides to take a pic of Jacody and send it to an unknown number.

 Suddenly he gets a text telling him to bring him to the hideout. Seeing this, Jim sighs, feeling pathetic on his situation. "Would have been a lot easier if Griffin was still here, but no thank you, I'm off to head to DC because I got in to an argument with Jim, you got this Jim." said Jim, mimicking what Griffin said to him before leaving town. He takes out his phone and calls Eve, who answers immediately.

"Hey, it's time, you're coming?" asked Jim to which Eve remains silent. "Listen, I know it's been difficult, but, he really wants to see all of us again, even clay, and… I'm sorry, how are you holding up?" asked Jim. "I'm alright, thank you for asking, how's clay?" asked Eve.

 "So she talks, after weeks of calling, never thought I might live to see the day where I would be happy to hear your voice again." said Jim to which Eve smiles. "Thank you, I'm sorry, I couldn't...” said Eve. "It's fine, about meeting up, you coming?" asked Jim.

"Yeah, I'll be there." said Eve. "Great, I guess I'll see you soon then." said Jim as he hangs up the phone. Eve who was viewing through the missing persons one last time, sees Ilayda's photo, along with many others. She turns off her laptop and heads out to meet with Jim.

Meanwhile in Washington D.C, Mayor Kaityln who had been waiting in queue to meet with the defense secretary in pentagon, finally gets her appointment. "Mrs Kaityln?" Asked a Agent. "Yes, yeah, that's me, Mayor Kaityln, I hope I'll still be." replied Kaityln.

 "He's ready for you, follow me." said the Agent who leads Kaityln into the Defense Secretary's office. Just as Kaityln enters the office, the defense secretary immediately notices it.

 "Mrs Kaityln, sorry to have you kept waiting." said the defense secretary.

"It's alright Mr. secretary, I'm happy that you had time to hear my request, well as you can see, my city is under military supervision, all the officers are out of jobs and my office is filled with mobs of people who demand to gain independence as if I'm the one responsible for it, so yeah, pressures huh?" replied Kaityln as she hands over the document regarding the status of Ceuvest to Defense Secretary.

"I am really sorry about this; I know being the mayor of Ceuvest is a tough job right now, those… DAWNEGARD I guess, yeah, pain the a*s if you ask me? But I'm afraid I'm helpless to assist you in this matter." said the defense secretary. "Helpless? You're the defense secretary." said Kaityln. "Of this government, not powerful enough to take on a global super powered organization, why don't you take a seat?" asked the defense secretary.

"I… Don't… understand.. if you can't help.. then.." said Kaityln before getting interrupted by the defense secretary. "That is what I wanted to discuss, this isn't the first mess they made, there are aren't any people alive who could assist you right now." said the Defense Secretary. "If the government can't help a city return to its former glory, what is the point of being a mayor of it?" asked Kaityln in frustration.

 "Look, I can understand your situation, but this is out of our control, we cannot do anything about it, unless they pack up and leave, the only legal solution is now for us to wait." said the Defense Secretary as the room blasts due to a explosion.

Moments pass as Kaityln slowly recollects herself from the explosion, before she could get up, she is being grabbed by a unknown figure who lunges himself out of the window while pentagon is being attacked.

Meanwhile, in outskirts of Ceuvest, a camp which is destroyed by the vampires led by Rebecca herself resides, just as she finishes the last of the soldiers, one of the thralls approach her. "What is it?" asked Rebecca as she twists a soldier's head just as she is done having her meal.

"The people are hungry, they want more." replied the person. "The people can wait, what about you Ilayda? What do you need?" asked Rebecca revealing the t****l is Ilayda. "What about me?" asked Ilayda. "Don't you want more? More freedom? More power?. Don't you want to be just like me?" asked Rebecca.

 "My only desire is to serve you my Queen, I do not want nothing more." said Ilayda. "Well then, to serve me, you need power, is it not? More power, than you can imagine." said Rebecca. "Yes…I need…power." said Ilayda. "Good, do you know why I came here?" asked Rebecca. "I…do..not know." replied Ilayda. "Centuries ago, couple of idiots tried to bring an ancient vampire back to life, they used two things, one is.. an Amaranthine, a source of pure power, I've had one actually but it..was stolen, another is a conduit, a life that stands between the life of living and the life of death." said Rebecca.

 "Amaranthine…it sounds.." said Ilayda as she collects to find something familiar in what Rebecca said. "Yes, it's a green colour gem, it has a big history, just stick to the point and shut up for now, for past several years, I've searched miles and miles, looking for a single conduit, but unfortunately never found one, until…I saw you." said Rebecca. "Me? A conduit?" asked Ilayda.

 "Yes, you've must have noticed how among other thralls, you have certain special abilities, you see, conduits are neither living nor dead, the blood that runs in your veins belonged to the line of the New God himself, though he was not of our world, he had children in ours, it is through his bloodline a vampire can attain his full potential." said Rebecca

"A Vampire? Is that what I am?" asked Ilayda. "No no, I am a vampire you see, you are my t****l, a special one, but I can make you, if you like." said Rebecca. "I… would.. like to.. be, what do I have to do?" asked Ilayda.

"Simple, the wolves have something that you mentioned earlier, Amaranthine, I need you to go find it and bring it to me, using it, not only we can full fill your wish, we could also get rid of this pathetic hunters." said Rebecca. "Your wish is my command.," said Ilayda.
