Meanwhile in the Road, As Eve walks to her home, she notices Ilayda rushing to catch up with her while yelling at her to stop. She turns back as she takes off her earphone. "Ilayda?" asked Eve.

Ilayda catches up to her while gasping for breath. "Hey…. How…. you…are…." said Ilayda while breathing heavily. "Fine, I guess, you have something in mind?" asked Eve. "No, I mean, yes, but, maybe, I don't know but..." said Ilayda before getting interrupted by Eve. "They asked you to spy on me, didn't they?" asked Eve. "No, no, you got it all wrong, I just, I wanted to check whether you're okay?" asked Ilayda. "And why would you do that?" asked Eve.

"Because, I… was… worried." said Ilayda. Eve remains silent while staring at her numbly. Then she decides to continue walking. "Fine, whatever, come on." said Eve as he continues walking with Ilayda. "So? Are you coming on Monday? At school?" asked Ilayda. "Pretty sure after a incident like that, schools going to be closed for a month, but if I does, I don't know, what about you?" asked Eve. "My parents would kill me if I even skipped one day at school." said Ilayda.

"Huh? So your parents are…" said Eve before getting interrupted by Ilayda. "Immigrants, we’re actually from Turkey, and you know." said Ilayda. “Me too, sort of, my mum came from Germany, so maybe Half Germen I think?” said Eve. “Yeah I know.” Said Illayda. “You know? How?” asked Eve. “I read your file during the “Get to Know your Friends” event, not that I was interested about it, I mean, I’m not saying you’re not interesting, cuz you are, a lot, what im trying to say is.. I said too much, I should shut up now.” Said Illayda feeling embarrassed about not being able to talk properly with her. "Right, so? How're you doing? Must be really difficult concentrating on studies and figuring out this stuff?" asked Eve. "You have no idea, had to lie I'm going group studies related to ornithology research, not to mention I have to show them a fake progress report." said Ilayda.

"s**t, you really work hard." replied Eve as Ilayda start to giggle. "So Eve, I don't mean to pry but, is there's something wrong? You haven't been the same since…" said Ilayda before getting interrupted by Eve. "Field trip? So, you'd think it's better if I spend my days picking on people rather than make friends." said Eve. "God no, I didn't mean that, really, you are much better person, not that you were the worst, I mean technically you were but I didn't mean that kind of way, (clears her throat) I should shut up now… again." said Ilayda. "Yup, you definitely should this time." said Eve.

 Ilayda remains silent for a while. "What I meant was, did something happen to you, did um, Peter hurt you or something?" said Ilayda. "No, no, no, you got it all wrong, Peter would never do something like that, (he giggles) it's not that." said Eve. "Then what is it? If that's okay?" asked Ilayda. "It's um, well, something did happen, sort of, but promise me that you won't tell anyone." said Eve.

"Eve, I promise, you can trust me." said Ilayda. Eve clears her throat. "Well, after Peter sneaked out, I followed him, and then he found me, then…" said Eve before getting interrupted when a car which had approached nearby honks. Both of them turn back to see it is actually Ilayda's brother Berat Parker honking to get her attention. Ilayda immediately recognizes it as she then turns back to Eve.

"Eve I'm so sorry it's my…" said Ilayda before getting interrupted by Eve. "Go, we'll talk later." replied Eve. Ilayda gives a quick hug, then rushes to her brother's car. After getting inside the car and putting the seltbelt, Berat drives off as Ilayda gives a look at Eve who is walking all alone.

Moments pass as Ilayda and her brother reach their home. He stops at the carpark and then both get down from the car without ushering a word.

She immediately rushes to the house door without even looking back. As she reaches the door, the door opens and Ilayda's Mother, Sefa Parker, who was having a chat with Rebecca, a tall pale woman with red eyes, after seeing Ilayda, Sefa greets her with a hug. "Sweetie, how are you? How did the studies go?" asked Sefa. "Amazing, it'll give me a huge headstart on the school opening next week." said Ilayda.

"That's great, but don't schools get closed for a entire month after a incident like that?" added Rebecca. "Maybe." replied Ilayda. "Oh I almost forgot, Ilayda this is our new neighbor Rebecca, they are just off the street." said Sefa. "Pleasure to meet you." said Rebecca who rather looks pale and her eyes sort of look red. "You look weird." replied Ilayda. "Ilayda." said Sefa.

"It's alright, I haven't had my lunch for a while, I just be going now, bye, good to meet you Ilayda." said Rebecca. "You too, (turns to Sefa) are you going to let me in?" asked Ilayda. "Come on in." replied Sefa. Ilayda walks through and rushes to her room. After few moments, her brother arrives at the scene with the Amaranthine which Ilayda had accidentally left in the car. Sefa who closed the door after he gets inside notices it. "What's that?" asked Sefa. "No idea, she must've left it." said Berat who hands it to Sefa.

Sefa then takes a closer look at the gem. "Since when does ornithology studies relates to gems?" asked Sefa. "Whatever, I'm going back to my room." said Berat as he begins to walk to his room.

"Did you have dinner?" asked Sefa. "Yes." replied Berat. "Keys please." asked Sefa. Berat tosses the keys to Sefa who catches it. "I've still got it." whispers Sefa in excitement.

Meanwhile hour later in Ilayda's Room, Ilayda who is preparing her fake progress report hears a knock on the door. "Come in." said Ilayda. The door opens and Sefa pops in with dinner prepared for her in her hand along with some water for her to wash her hands.

"Hey." said Sefa. "Hey mom, I'll get that." said Ilayda as she gets up and takes the plate from her hands. Sefa hands the plate and closes the door. Soon both of them sit in the floor as Ilayda washes her hands with the water brought and begins to have dinner. "So how's it going?" asked Sefa. "Usual… I guess, things haven't been the same since the field trip, but it'll get better, I think." said Ilayda while eating.

"That’s... good, I guess, I'm still sorry for forcing you to go on that horrible trip, had I known…" said Sefa before getting interrupted by Ilayda. "It's okay, no way you could've known, besides, it wasn't that bad." said Ilayda. Sefa stares at her in shock given her response. "No that I meant, (she gulps) what I meant is, I… made.. some friends." said Ilayda.  "What type of friends?" asked Sefa suspiciously.

"Girlfriends, (she clears her throat) not that type of, more like girls friends." said Ilayda. "Ohh, I see, you know sweetie, you can tell me anything." said Sefa as she lays her hand on Ilayda's. "I know Mom, (she takes her hand back and takes the cup) I will, it's just, right now, I may need some time." said Ilayda. "For what?" asked Sefa. "For my project.. I guess, I just need to get it prepared in time with school is in less than 3 days." said Ilayda. "Months, but, yes, I understand, and um, did you leave this in the car?" asked Sefa as she shows out the Amaranthine in her hands. Ilayda gets frightened to death, but tries to remain calm as she grabs it immediately from Sefa. "It's nothing, just some stuff I found." said Ilayda who then absorbs the energy unknowingly, reading her mother's thoughts.

"Why is she acting weird? Maybe it's from her girlfriend." thinks Sefa while looking at Ilayda suspiciously. "No!" yells Ilayda. "No what?" asked Sefa. "Um, nothing, nothing, that's what I was going to say." said Ilayda.

"Okay, why did you want to say nothing?" asked Sefa. Ilayda remains silent while staring at her mom. Suddenly out of scaredness, she accidentally taps into her mother's mind. She becomes surprised and shocked to witness going to someone else's thoughts and memories.

Both of them remain numb as Ilayda goes even further and alters her mother's memories and thoughts towards her. She then returns to the world after doing what she did, having no clue what's going to be the result and washes her hands. Her mother too returns but with a creepy robotic smile, she notices Ilayda has finished her dinner and has just finished washing her hands.

"Oh right then, I'll clean this up." said Sefa in the same sweet tone as she takes the plate and begins to walk away from the room. Ilayda observes her behavior and becomes confused.

"Mom?" asked Ilayda. Sefa turns back at Ilayda with the same robotic smile. "What?" asked Sefa. "Are you okay?" asked Ilayda. "Of course, good night." said Sefa as he leaves the room without observing her homework.

"What the hell was that?" asked Ilayda who has no idea what she did to her mind. She looks at the gem, then at the closed door, then again at the stone until she realizes she actually altered her mind with her abilities. She remains shocked for a second but gets excited as she takes a look at Amaranthine. "You and I are going to have so much fun." said Ilayda at the Amaranthine. Suddenly she gets a call from Evelyn. Looking surprised and excited, she immediately answers. “Hello Eve, what’s up?” asked Ilayda. “what’s up? Umm.. whatever… why I called is because.. I really felt bad about how I spoke to you earlier.” Said Eve. “Its fine, we’re friends now, nothing to be sorry of.” Said Ilayda. Suddenly Eve goes to silence on her reply. “Hello Eve? Are you there?” asked Ilayda. “Yeah, yeah, sorry, its.. I don’t have much friends so when you called me as one…its nothing, forget it, just, so you and me? We’re cool right?” asked Evelyn to which Ilayda smiles. “Yes! I mean, yeah we’re cool, you and…me.” Said Illayda. “ookay, I guess ill hang up then, bye.” Said Eve feeling kind of awkward about how Illayda is behaving towards her. “Yeah sure, byeee.” Said Ilayda as Eve hangs it up before she could complete her sentence.
