It's been seven years without her in our lives, my beautiful Noela; she died giving birth to our precious babies. I have loved them ever since, Alexandria and Alexander. They both have their mothers' green orbs and have my black, silky hair. I love my babies so much, and I would do anything for them. I am Romania Antonio Xavier, the CEO of Romania Co-operation. We handle everything from technology to law firms. I am the sole heir to all the businesses. My father retired to travel the world with my mother. They are high school sweethearts. You can imagine how their love bloomed like a fairy tale. "Hey, bae, I'm home. I just landed, and I had to come see you." The most annoying voice said as she barged into my office, my secretary following her, calling her to stop. "Eva, what are you doing here? We broke up three years ago. GET.OUT! Or I will call security to escort you." I said, shaking with anger and hatred in my eyes for this creature before me. "Babe, I am better now. I went to rehab and anger management classes. I promise I am better than before. I can do this, we can do this. Just give me a chance." She begs with fake tears in her eyes. I can see through her façade; I know she is evil beyond measure. What she put me and my children through can not be forgiven. My babies had nightmares for a whole year and visits to doctors and counselors. We had a really painful year. I picked up the phone to call my lawyer, "Douglas, I need a restraining order. That evil b***h is here again, make it quick." I looked at her with the coldest stare I could manage and shouted at her in anger, "If I ever see you again, you will rot in jail. You have no idea what I've got on you." She ran out of my office, almost tripping. "Send emails to all employees to notify them of Eva White, she is banned from this company and any other Romanian co-operations." She nodded, then rushed out to her desk. After Eva, I swore never to date again. My parents warned me at first, but I was too blinded by her beauty, never again! My day went by in a blur until it was time to go back home, which I loved because I got to see my beautiful babies. I left the office in a hurry to get home. Home sweet home, I can hear Xandria shouting and Xander crying. I let myself in just to hear the nanny say, "You are spoiled little brats, no wonder your mommy left you." I was livid, I threw her out of the house and let the dogs out on her. She can run for all I care. I went back to my babies to soothe and comfort them. They had to know how much their mother loved them and was watching over them from heaven. We had to order takeout because we were so tired from all the crying and bonding. I canceled all my meetings for that week to be with them and take them out to have fun. School can wait. I bathed and dressed them in their pajamas and took them to my room to sleep with me in case of any nightmares. Morning came, and I was making them breakfast. They came downstairs all smiles and jumpy. I loved seeing them so happy with no worries. "So, loves, we are going to have fun this week. It will be just the three of us, anywhere you want to go?" I asked them, smiling. "How about Disneyland!" Xandria said, jumping to her feet. "Then we can go to the park afterwards to feed the ducks," Xander said, smiling. He is the quiet one and talks to his sister and me only. Xandria is more talkative and social; she makes friends quickly. "Okay, let's finish up breakfast." After breakfast, they both dressed in their favorite cartoon characters and backpacks on their backs. We got into the car and drove off to Disneyland. I enjoyed bonding time with them the most. We did a lot of fun activities until we were tired and hungry. I got take-outs and drove to a park to eat and feed the ducks as planned. Lia's pov We were out having fun in a park. Achi was feeding the ducks, and Lechi was painting. I was just watching my brothers be happy. Then we had gunshots. I turned around to check where it came from, and that's when I saw the two children hugging each other in fear and a man pointing a gun at their heads, telling them to follow him. I couldn't let this happen, so I sprinted to where they were and kicked the gun out of the man's hand. I turned to the kids and told them to run to my brothers, pointing towards them. I could see the worried looks they were giving me, but I couldn't lose my concentration. I'd been training for so long, and it was time to put it all into practice. I round-kicked the man, rendering him unconscious. I could see his friend driving away, and a man running towards me. "Where are they, my babies? I can't lose them," he said, almost crying. "Dude, they are safe, they are with my brothers over there," I said, pointing towards them. Achi and Lechi are hugging them. "So are you going to call it in, or how do you want to handle this piece of s**t?" I said, nodding towards the unconscious man. "I will handle it. Thank you so much for your help. How can I repay you?" he asks. I look at him like he's grown two heads, "Just take your children back home safely. They need you, go to them." A crowd had formed, and with cameras recording everything until the police came, all the witnesses recorded their statements. I went back to my brothers, holding on to them and hugging them. "Don't ever do that again. We can't lose you. We will die without you, Lia." They said, crying on my shoulders as I ran my hands through their hair. I still can't believe they are taller than me, but they cry like babies. Romania's pov "Don't ever do that again. We can't lose you. We will die without you, Lia." I hear the two boys tell the woman who just saved my babies, they were crying on her shoulders. I love the way they are close. I had gone to buy duck food, and people were already after my precious children. After making my statement, I carried my babies to the car and put them in. "Hey, dude, you forgot your coat." That sweet voice again. I turn around to take my coat, and she smiles at Xander, and he returns with a warm smile of his own. I gasp at that, "He never talks to strangers, let alone smiles." I say, looking shocked. " It's a gift." She says and walks away. I am left there staring at her back and realize I don't even know her name. I shake my head and jump into my jeep to take my babies home. "Daddy, are we going to see Lia again?" Xander asks, and I look at him with a questioning look, and he continues, "The lady that saved us, she is nice and pretty, I want to marry a woman like her." I stopped the car immediately after that and faced him, "Son, why her?" I ask, intrigued. "She didn't care that we were rich or even knew who we were, but she still helped us. Her first instinct was to protect us, and she sent us to the people she trusted the most. Her brothers were so worried about her, but they didn't show it to protect us. In my opinion, she is worth it." He finished saying with a smile on his face. I am shocked at the way he is a great observer and a great judge of character. I started driving again towards our home, feeling happy. I will have to call my parents to help me with the kids for a while. I can't leave them alone again. We arrived home, and the twins were asleep. I had to wake them up because I couldn't leave either of them alone. Xander woke up and told me to carry Xandria, so I did as I was told and took them to bed. We put Xandria to bed, and we both kissed her forehead. Then, I took Xander and tucked him in and kissed him, too. I went to bed immediately, I was too tired to even change into my pajamas, and slept soundly. The second day with my babies, we were going to stay at home and have a movie marathon. So I prepared snacks and took them to the theatre room, and went to wake them up. "Hey, miniatures, wake up, we are having a movie marathon," I shouted. Xander was outside the door, all dressed up with a pillow, and my princess was still in bed, groaning at us to keep quiet. I know she's not a morning person, but she won't miss our bonding time. I entered her room and started tickling her." You know if you weren't my dad, I would've punched you in the face," she said in between laughs. "Then lucky me! Now wake up, get ready, and come down for breakfast. I have something to tell both of you." I said, walking out of her room. "So did you make breakfast?" Xander asked. "Yes, I did, I learned how to cook, so that times like this, when we are alone, we won't starve to death," I say, looking at him. Yes, I am proud of myself. I can cook pancakes without burning them. I smiled at the thought. "Okay, and what do you want to tell us? I hope you are not in love again because we will burn that woman alive." He says, looking at me. "What! No! I am never dating again. Never!" I said, astonished at my son's revelation. '"Not even Lia?" He asked, gauging my reaction, and what has Lia got to do with this? No, not even Lia." I replied. "Good, because I plan to grow up quickly and go get her. She is mine!" He says with a smile on his face. My God, my son has a crush on Lia, but he is seven years old. What does he know about love or crushes?
