"Hey pretty woman, sit here next to me." I said, patting the empty spot beside me with a grin.

She scoffed but still complied and sat next to me with a sigh.

Remember when we were in the hospital and I made a deal with her if I distract her brother which was to stay with me for three days, well plot twist. Now that she has told me her biggest secret which I think she did it because maybe she was guilty or thought that I was really going to sue her.

It was a joke, by the way.

"So..." I said making conversation with her.

"Don't talk to me, idiot." She said without glancing at me.

Feisty...I like it.

I nodded and sighed, leaning close to her abruptly and whispered in her ear.

"That was quite a show, yesterday."

She seems to understand my warning as she tugs my ear in a painful way.

"What do you want, bastard." She hissed harshly, my head whipped toward her with a sneaky grin.

"Go out with me." I said looking at her beautiful eyes.

"I will think about it." She replied with a void of emotion and let go of my swollen earlobe, I rubbed it softly, still have my sneaky grin on my face.

I turned over my comrades who looked at me with a confusing face, I shrugged and leaned on my table, my palm on my cheek, staring at the goddess beside me.

I don't know If I can really win the bet this time, I have this feeling to protect her from other males and stupid fuckers like Melvin who maybe is spending his time in South Africa, enjoying his vacation that my father gave him.

The mother fucker caught me doing illegal racing cars which I had to keep his mouth shut, thanks to my dad who comes in to save me, he gave him two weeks of vacation in South Africa, enjoying girls there. I told you, he's an untrustworthy, manipulative fucker. Maybe that's why he didn't get any news from Sophia.

She stopped what she was writing on her notebook, what's wrong baby?

I saw her taking out her phone discreetly, my girl is being bad hein?

I don't think she caught me staring because right she's actually texting someone else which I leaned in close to see who is she texting, and guess what.

It's Melvin the fucker.

She asked him how is he doing and where is he, why do you need to know his surroundings? You have me, baby.

"Melvin is not here." I said making her eyes snapped at me.

"Were you staring at me?" She asked and I ignored her question.

I sat up and roll my head backwards, loosing up some muscles on my neck.

"Maybe, maybe not." I replied with a smirk.

She gasped, "it's wrong to stare at someone!"

"And you think, I will follow those stupid laws." I stated dumbly.

"Anyway, I don't want to hear from you if he's not here." She looked away from me, why is she looking away from me? Why can't you keep letting me look at those beautiful eyes?

"He's in South Africa." I replied and heard the bell rang through the room, I get up with my stuff and waited for Sophia to follow me since she has no choice of leaving me.

"What are you doing Nate? We have to go to the cafeteria." I heard Nelson talking and Carson sighing but the only person who I was waiting for is this girl sitting next to me who doesn't move.

"Get up. You have to follow me." I said and she glared at me while biting her lips if she keeps doing that I will definitely lose my s**t.

"No, I don't want to." She crossed her arms.

I sighed as I kicked her chair lightly, she glared at me with her puppy eyes, she want to play, ok let's play. I narrowed my eyes in determination, staring at her and licked my lips.

I let out a sad whimper and let down my head, in the corner of my eyes I can see the two idiots widening their eyes in shock and gasped. I lift my head up a little to see her reaction and she was flabbergasted.

"Sophia doesn't want to follow me." I sobbed and sniffed my nose.

"What the f**k is wrong with this man?!" Nelson yelled.

I ignored and kept my sad eyes on Sophia who looked reluctant and fighting her conscience. She bites her lips too hard making them bleed, why are you hurting your lips? Do you want me to smooth them?

"Fine, fine let's go before I regret my decision." She sighed and ran off the room, I smirked and fisted my pump in the air.

"And that is how you get a woman." I grinned as I looked at the two inexperienced guys who gaped at me.

"That's how you get a woman?" Nelson asked with stars on his eyes.

"I can't believe you two!" Carson rolled his eyes.

"I tell you later now it's time to play with princess." I smirked and skipped on my way out.

"He's whipped man." Nelson stated.

"Absolutely." Carson agreed.

"f**k, I hate my dad." I groaned on the table, Sophia looked somehow uncomfortable with us but I forced her to be with me because obviously, I wouldn't let her eat alone.

"Why? What does he want?" Nelson said with amusement, they know very well that I don't hate him.

"He wants me to go to a business party accompanied by a female." I mumbled and they cheered.

"You will finally have some pus-"

I cut Nelson off by a slap on his face because my baby was beside me and she doesn't need to know about it, I looked at her, eating quietly her food while listening to us.

"So who is holding this business party?" Carson asked and I beckoned them to come closer, I see Sophia didn't lean in close like them so I grabbed the back of her neck in all of a sudden and brought her close to us, we were all in a circle and I looked at them with a smirk.

"The Parker's." I whispered and then leaned back, leaving Sophia alone.

"What the f**k?!" Carson yelled in surprise, I looked at Sophia who was startled and I guess fear took over her body.

The Parker's are the family that you should look out for, they are usually from New York but they came to live in California which I will have to go there.

Mostly Kyle Parker, the devil of New York, apparently he's the boss in their family mafia, Carter gave him the role for the sake of his wife and son.

I only heard in the underground where the bad things happen there, I'm only participating in an illegal racing car but who knows what I will do after.

"So you're telling me, you have been invited to Carter Parker party." Nelson said in joy. I nodded and smile proudly, I don't know why? But my dad said that he helped him and wanted me to meet him.

"That's so amazing!" They both shouted except Sophia who looked displeased, suddenly I had an idea in my head.

"But I still need to find a girl to be my guest." I said, looking at them.

"You can bring Grace, she will fall in love with Kyle." Nelson snickered, Carson glared at him and I cringed in disgust.

"Nah she will bother me anyway and people will think of her as a gold digger." I stated. We started to think seriously about my guest.

I peered at Sophia who looked unbothered and still wasn't finished her food, the boys followed my eyes and smirked as I do the same. After a moment of staring, Sophia noticed that we didn't talk and looked at us.

"What? Continue." She insisted but as she saw that we didn't reply to her, she huffed and sipped her drink quietly.

Sophia was scared when I mentioned that I was going to go to the party which will be hosted by the Parker's. Maybe she is the right woman for me.

"You coming with me to the party without no objection." I stated firmly as she heard the news, she spats her drink at Carson's face and wiped her mouth slowly while glaring at me.

Yeah, she's definitely coming with me.
