Chapter Three
Chains, blades and swords are nailed to the walls with a dark African emblem in the background. Dark earth tone colors and pictures of hyenas are painted into the walls. Blades of African, western and eastern cultures are aligned in cases, hanging or pinned to the wall. Inside the large room, daggers are showcased on the tables with price labels attached to them. Secular designs with a different culture’s emblem and written in African language. Small lights flicker back and forth. Three large rectangular clear glass cases intersected one another.
