Hello, everybody!

This is the final draft of “The Shadows that we Follow" before it goes into professional editing! I started this novel in August of 2022, and have stuck to it ever since! You are one of the first people to read what I hope to be a best-selling novel.

I'll be posing a new chapter every 1-2 days, as I would like some time to proof-read a final time before posing!

Now, here are a few things that I would like to mention before you read this book:

Firstly, the reading age for this book is 16+— or Young Adult, (the best comparison would be the audience range for “The Hunger Games” series.) However, I do not care if you are younger that 16 and would still like to read, as I definitely read similar books before I turned 16, lol. This guidline is mostly in place so that my novel doesn't get removed.

However, it is important to note that if you are uncomfortable with graphic depictions of violence, (light) cursing, and dark themes throughout, then this book might not for you! No hard feelings!

If you do still want to read this, but you want a warning for specific topics, I have provided a list of trigger warnings on the next page!

And lastly, please DON’T be afraid to criticize me!

I am sharing this novel with people so that my writing can be judged by an audience before a professional rips it to shreds. If you notice ANY errors/plotholes, PLEASE point them out so that I can fix them!
