The next day, Alex and Verna were pretty excited as they made their way towards the tutorial center. They were finally going to meet the kids they will be helping which made them also a little anxious. Verna brought her car so she and Alex could drive after school which was convenient since they did not want to take the bus.
The program was usually 2 to 3 hours long with each tutor getting 2 or more students depending on the age level. Sometimes, volunteers can even get to do a small group if they have enough tutees who are on the same level of learning and subjects.
