Travis is already in the car and watching with amusement as Alexandra Carter seemed to be taking her sweet time getting to his car. He could not help but laugh when she paused and pretended to tie her shoelace. The girl had a mean streak inside of her and Travis wanted to get to know her more because he is intrigued.
He did not plan on talking to her or even trying to be a friend to her. He said to himself that the cake was the last act of goodness from him. It bothered him that she felt bad because of him so he figured that the chocolate goodie would somehow make up for it.
He did want to do something about Kathy when he saw her hit Alex on her injured shoulder. Good thing Kurt was there and he was able to stop Travis from doing anything rash. He just ignored the girl and talked to Kurt
