"I think I need food after all of this!” Travis announced as he plopped down on the grassy area beside Alexandra as soon as the basketball game was over.
The basketball game lasted for almost an hour and a half with the kids split into two teams and playing against each other. Brian and Travis worked with Cody’s team while Mr. Jones coached the other. Of course, Travis had to do some drills and exhibition shots with the kids before the actual game.
“I’ll take your kids inside, Alex,” Verna volunteered with a cheeky smile before Alexandra could stand up “you stay here with Travis for a while.”
Alexandra wanted to protest but Verna had already called Leila and Cody to go with her. They jogged towards the study hall along with Verna leaving Travis with Alex.
