Sarah's heart was pounding fast, she was in the same spot as yesterday, inside her car at work, contemplating whether to go in. Vivid images of what played out the previous day were still stuck in her head and it only amplified her fear. She knew she couldn't quit, she knew half of Gu was hoping she did, but she had a mission. Not only that, she just discovered her very first tangible lead.

She had laid up all night analyzing her situation and planning for the next move. When Derrick came back, she hoped he did with useful information. She wasn't sure what the information was yet but she knew just how she was going to use it. Stephanie has always been on her neck, she hated her no doubt. The incident that happened yesterday had something to do with Stephanie, it was clear. She would finally be able to tame her, she would be able to use her.

Sarah took a deep breath as she pushed her hair backward, she hadn't begun about her day yet but she was already tired. She had been getting calls from Tyler, Felicity, and Anna yesterday but she was in no mood to pick up or return the calls. The last thing she needed was to be humiliated again, she was trying to keep it together at best she can. She had Derrick living with her at home and Tyler at work, she can't let either of them see her break down or look weak, she had her reasons.

" Ma'am, "

Sarah turned around to see Anna and Felicity approach her.

" Hey... " Her voice was barely audible.

" Hey, " Felicity began, " You okay? "

Sarah nodded, " I'm fine, embarrassed but fine. "

" I'm sorry about what happened, I'm... I'm glad you came back. " Felicity retorted as she went ahead of them.

" Thank you. " Sarah whispered behind her.

" You don't have to keep letting these things happen to you though. " Anna replied.

" I uh... " Sarah didn't know how to place her answer.

" What she did to you in front of everyone, that was wrong. "

" I know, but I__

" Just because Leah had to put up with it, doesn't mean you should too. "

Sarah was blown away by Anna's statement, " What? "

Anna immediately realizes her mistake, " I'm sorry, I shouldn't be talking about her. I'm sorry, I have to go. "

" Anna wait... " Before Sarah could get a hold of her, Anna had already made her way inside.

Sarah got the same look, stares, and response from her fellow workers as she did the first time she got introduced to them. They appeared mortified to find her back at Gu the following day, they must have been expecting her to quit. She was gradually getting used to the type of attention she received from her co-workers. She was embarrassed, no doubt but at least she didn't feel hopeless, she was going to keep on thriving.
