Derrick rested on the wall as the cold water from the shower melted into his skin. He had to put up an act like he got everything under control but deep down he was freaking out. What was he to do now? he knew his sudden presence was spooking Sarah out, but he had no choice, staying here was the only option he had. Leah was killed, he couldn't save her, the more reason he has to find out the truth.
He wasn't sure if he was ready for the truth, no, he definitely wasn't ready for the truth. The thought of what placed him in this situation scared him even
Sarah was already being a pain in the ass but he had to put up with it.
So far, the recipe book was still missing. Or maybe it got burnt down with her. the thought of Leah's death caused him to scream ferociously, thumping his fist heavily on the wall.
He can't go anywhere near Gu, someone might recognize him. But now he got Sarah, Leah didn't tell him about her. She was a sure addition that would ease his mission.
Leah knew something else, something deeper than what she told him. and he was going to find out.

Felicity had gone to Anna's house to pick her up, they had agreed to go to the meeting together. She was surprised when she received an email about the emergency meeting, it was a Sunday after all.
What stood up to her was the fact that it wasn't from their manager, Olivia Guvin but the director himself. She shook at the thought of seeing Tyler again, goosebumps surfaced all over her skin. She was happy just thinking about it, but something still scared her. Would he finally give her the attention she yearned for, or not notice her all?
" Common! get in, " Felicity gestured at Anna.
" Hey, " Anna sighed as she got in the car.
" You okay? You look like you've been crying all night. "
Anna shifted her gaze from Felicity, double-checking her look with the mirror in the car.
" Does this have something to do with the guy from last night? " Felicity curiously asked.
" No, " Anna huffed, " No, of course not. "
" Really? cause if he hurts you, imma kill him. "
Anna chuckled, " Fer, you really don't know who that is? "
Felicity arched a brow, " No, who? "
Anna bit her lips, " It's Jimmy. "
Felicity gasped as she heard Anna mention the name, she had been the shoulder Anna cried after Jimmy's sudden departure. She was aware of Anna's undying love for Jimmy Guvin.
" Oh my gosh. " Felicity whispered still surprised.
" Yap, he's back. " Anna nodded as she tried to fight back the tears.
" Oh no," Felicity retorted as she spotted Anna's resolve.
" I'm fine Fer, "
" No, you're not, listen__
" I know what you wanna say and I haven't been picking up his calls, I don't plan to. "
Felicity shook her head, " Of course! but... it's obvious that it's killing you already, I can tell by the way you're awkwardly staring at your phone. "
Anna instantly dropped her phone, " So I should answer? "
" I don't want you to, but do you wanna? "

Felicity's look changed, " Why we're having a meeting on Sunday? "

" What if, the killer is among us? it's possible. " Anna lowered her voice.
Felicity was thrown off balance, " Anna, it's just us in the car, no need to whisper. "

Felicity shook her head, " This company is trouble, it's best we stay out of it. "

Sarah couldn't look at Tyler, for some reason her face was red from blushing. She still maintained a straight face, she was determined not to let him know that she may have developed a crush on him. Her eyes wandered over to his smooth fingers, one hand already fixated on the wheels and the other on his lap. Sarah's eyes followed it as he tapped his fingers and hummed to a song she didn't know.
" So, " Tyler began, " You like the house? "
" Do I have a choice? "
" Is that a no? "
Sarah turned over to him for the first time throughout the ride, " That's my dead friend's house, it's hard to stay there and not get nostalgic. "
" You okay? " Tyler asked.
Sarah still pondered about it, or if she should disclose it to Tyler.
" Hey, " Tyler wanted to get her attention so he softly grabbed her by the arm, slowly pulling her.
Sarah's heart skipped a beat as she felt Tyler's soft fingers graze her skin, she was briefly caught up in her delusions as she stared at him.
" You okay Sarah? " He asked again.
" Yeah, yeah. " Sarah finally answered.
" I'm sorry you feel that way about the house, maybe I can__
" No! " Sarah yelled, " You don't need to do anything, I'll be fine. " There was no way she would receive favor from Tyler.
" You sure? "
" Thank you Mr. Guvin. "
As Felicity and Anna approached their destination, they could see Stephanie, their co-worker, from a distance kissing a man.
Anna arched a brow, " Isn't that Rico? "
Felicity peered closer to get a look, " What the hell? Steph and Rico are a thing? "
Anna was disgusted, " Ew, that perv. "
Felicity made a stop as they both came down from the car and headed into the building.
Stephanie parted ways with Rico as she saw them. Felicity and Anna made no physical or verbal contact as they peacefully passed them.
Stephanie laced them with an evil eye as she grabbed Rico by the arm, forcefully pulling him inside. Anna's phone kept ringing, she had the urge to pick it up, but she shouldn't. Now seeing Tyler's car approaching them, Anna turned her phone off.
Tyler smiled at Sarah once as they both stepped out of the car, " Welcome to Gu family restaurant, Jacksonville head. "
Sarah glanced around in awe, " It's beautiful and... huge. "
" This is just Jacksonville head, but you're right. "
As Sarah entered the building, she quickly realized that all eyes were on Tyler and herself. She instantly felt uncomfortable, The looks were laced with shock, surprise, and confusion. It was obvious that one of them was aware of her coming.
" Everyone introduce yourself. " Tyler ordered as they sat down.

Tyler gestured for them to seat, " Great, guys meet Sarah Rhodes, new executive chef of B.D Team. "
