“I was told that he would arrive later this afternoon with my uncle’s luggage. Higgins was with him in India, and I think knows all his secrets.”

“I remember Uncle Kenyon telling me that Higgins had nursed him through malaria and once when he was wounded after a skirmish. I have a feeling that he would be just as effective as any doctor.”
“Then please will you fetch him?” Delia asked. “And if you can think of some way of preventing your household from talking, I will make sure that nobody here reveals where he is.”
