Nadia, a 20-year-old college student, and Evan, a 25-year-old freelance journalist, had been traveling together for weeks, exploring the scenic beauty of Bihar, India. On a chilly winter evening, they decided to take a detour through the dense forests of Araria.
As they wandered deeper into the woods, the silence was shattered by a faint cry for help. Nadia and Evan rushed toward the sound, their hearts pounding in unison.
What they found was a scene straight out of a horror movie. A young woman, barely in her twenties, lay lifeless on the ground, her body mutilated beyond recognition.
Nadia and Evan were paralyzed with shock, unsure of what to do next. It was then that they heard the sound of sirens piercing through the forest, growing louder with each passing second.
The police arrived, and Nadia and Evan were taken into custody as prime suspects. The evidence against them was damning: a torn piece of fabric caught in the victim's fingernail matched the thread of Nadia's jacket, and a suspicious conversation between Evan and the victim was recorded on a nearby CCTV camera.
