Detective Ray Morres carefully straightened a small photo frame at the corner of his desk even though it hadn’t been unstraightened by anything for weeks with the dust collected around it. Once he was happy with it’s new position, he was annoyed by the dust trail he’d just created. He lifted the frame up, took out his handkerchief and dusted off the offending piece of desk ensuring a perfect square of it was free of dust. He then dusted the face and top edge of the picture and ran his finger over its smiling images of a woman and two young children.
