The humming influence of the dagger stone slid away as he went deeper into the tunnel. The near perfect darkness robbed him of any signs of this shaman. Salvador followed the breeze that must have been coming from the open side of the mountain and had to feel his way along the wet cold walls. There were loose rocks of all styles on the ground. He occasionally launched one against the wall or sent one clacking off along the tunnel floor like a hockey puck. The light started to grow around him as the breeze led him on. He turned left then right then rounded the bend, and that initial c***k of light now became a vista extravaganza as that final bend showed him the world outside the mountain.
