“I can't believe we are doing this.” I tapped my legs rhythmically, as my gaze shifted to the house just across the street. It was Theodore and Monica’s house.
“Well, she left us no choice when she declined and insulted you so yes, we are breaking into their house as soon as she leaves.” George grabbed the binoculars he bought specifically for the operation whilst tracking Monica’s movement.
True to his words, a day after Theodore’s arrest, we traced Monica to a studio, she was having a pregnancy photo shoot all by herself. It made me feel bad that I was technically the reason why her husband was locked up but I didn't feel guilty because he caused it himself.
