By the time I got back to Lilian's ward, Julia was fast asleep on the couch and her head was hanging weirdly. I needed to adjust her neck so she doesn't wake up to body pains the next morning.
Her parents were nowhere to be found, my best guess was that Julia managed to shoo them back home so she could play the role of big sister to Lilian. As much as I feel she couldn't have done anything to help Lilian, I must leave her to get rid of her guilt however way it suited her.
There was something fascinating about watching her maternal instinct surface. Julia would make a perfect bride, just not for me.
