Flash back
Never have I ever seen my life flash before me like today.
I can feel my whole body wobble as I lose my balance. I dropped my backpack and my books spilled all out in the hallway.
Being the center of attention has always been my modus operandi and I don’t mean in the popular kind of way because I look like some beautiful goddess or something. I mean I’m the school leper who gets stinking fish dumped in my bag, the girl who sits alone at the cafeteria because no one wants to associate themselves with me.
By being tripped, I stumbled on a foot that magically appeared in my path, and fell. I had barely comprehended what happened when a burst of boisterous laughter from the students of Gilded Heights Academy surrounded me, the school loser as they watched me wince
