Julia’s POV The penthouse door shut with a quiet click, but the noise in my head was far from quiet. I was running late. Again. The drive to the manor was a blur, a string of red lights and honking horns, but all I could think about was my father and the press conference I had before Laura called me. I needed to know if the vultures in the media didn't get their way. I had been so busy that I was yet to get an update if I was able to save my father’s political career or not. I turned up the driveway to the manor, the place looking as stately as ever.
