The Luna of White Mountain

Chapter Six- Awake

Beep, beep, beep, beep. All I can hear is that annoying beeping, I wish someone would turn off the machine or alarm clock that is making that noise. I know there are people nearby as I can hear them talking. I don't know exactly what they are talking about but I wish they would just stop that annoying beeping.

Why does my head hurt so much? I wonder where I am? The last thing I remember is being trapped in that God awful cell by the rogues and then I remember Amara, I don't remember much after that.

“I am your mate. God I wish I knew your name.” Wait is that person talking to me. Is he my mate? Why can't I open my eyes and see this person?. That beeping is still going on. I really wish someone will turn it off.

“The beeping is letting people know that you are still alive Alianna. We have been through hell these last few weeks, but we are safe now. Our mate is nearby

and he smells divine.”

“Oh my god. Amethyst your back. Where have you been? Are you okay? I thought I lost you, and what do you mean the beeping is letting people know I am alive? What the hell has happened?”

“Slow down Alianna. Yes I am back, I have been here the whole time, we just couldn't communicate, yes I am okay now that the silver is out of your system, I can finally start healing you. Amara teleported you to the borders of White Mountain Pack where we were found by their patrol and their Beta and Gamma, but we was in terrible shape and couldn't explain what had happened to us and the current Luna told her Beta to bring us to the hospital here at White Mountain Pack where we have been have been looked after. Your body was badly beaten and you had so much silver in you that I couldn't help you until it was removed and I am guessing the doctor here knows what they are doing because guess who's back.”

“I am so glad you are back Amethyst. I have missed you so much. You are the only family I have left. I don't think I would be able to survive if I lost you as well as my family.”

“I am not going anywhere Alianna, you are stuck with me forever, I know you lost your family, I did too, but we have a new family waiting for us and waiting to meet you. Alianna it's time to wake up now so that we can be happy again. Wake up Alianna. Wake up.”

My body started to feel tingly, it was like my whole body had pins and needles going through it. I started to move my toes to see if I could make the pins and needles disappear and I was surprised that it did, I moved on to my fingers and my left hand moved freely, but my right hand was being weighed down by something or someone I was quite sure. “Go into the light Alianna, it will wake you up” I looked around for the light or at least I think I did but I was unsure. All of a sudden there was this bright white light in front of my and I walked towards it like Amethyst said and then the next thing I knew I was in a bright white sterile room that I didn't recognise. There was a sink on the far wall, with a mirror above it. I looked around the room slowly and noticed that my left hand had a needle stuck in it with one of the liquid bags attached to it.

“Hi.”

I turned to the voice that spoke to me and there sat a dark haired man with the most gorgeous hazel coloured eyes I had ever seen and he was holding my right hand. “Hi. Who……who are you? Please don't hurt me?”

The person holding my hand looked at me with a sad look in his eyes “Don't worry. I am not going to hurt you. I promise. My name is Alpha Brandon Lewis Fairchild and I am the alpha here at the White Mountain Pack. You were found on our borders by my Beta and Gamma. You were badly injured and unconscious, you are currently in our hospital being looked after.”

I breathed a sigh of relief that this person named Brandon wasn't going to hurt me, but I also smelt something wonderful. It smelt of cedarwood and tobacco and I realised it was coming from Brandon. “Mate, mate, mate.” was all Amethyst was saying in my head. I looked over at Brandon and he was smiling “You're my mate. I mean I can smell your scent and it's making my mouth water and my wolf is going mad in my head.”

“Yes. I am your mate. I smelt your scent as soon as I came into the hospital. You smell of honeysuckle and cinnamon. What is your name baby? I need to know your name.”

“My name is Alianna Grace Morgenstern. I am sorry I was the daughter of Joseph David Morgenstern, the late alpha of the Blue Lake Mountain Pack.”

Brandon looked at Alianna “your Joseph's daughter? We thought everyone was killed in the rogue attacks a few weeks ago. How did you manage to escape? Don't get me wrong I am so glad you did because now you're here with me and safe and I will not let anyone hurt you again, but the rogues that have been attacking pack's are not like normal rogues. Alianna, baby you need to tell me everything. Once you're feeling up to it, of course my love.”

I smiled at Brandon, “I want to tell you everything now, if you're ready to hear it, that is what I will tell you will make you angry especially now that we know we are mates.”

“Alianna, baby I was angry the second I saw you lying on this hospital bed and I realised you were my mate. So hearing what happened to you, yes it will make myself and Kojax, who is my wolf angry but I promise you that we won't be angry at you, just the bastard who did this to you beautiful, but I do have one question, can I contact my parents and have them here while you explain as they were friends with your parents and I know they will want to hear it from you instead of second hand from me, and it will just be them nobody else I promise” I nodded and watched Brandon’s eyes clouded over while he mindlinked his parents to come to the hospital just the two of them and nobody else. “They are on their way, they will be here shortly.” all I could do was nod as I just couldn't stop staring at how handsome Brandon was. “You're staring.”

“Sorry. I didn't mean to. It's just I can't believe that we are mates, and how lucky I am to have you.”

“I'm the lucky one Alianna. I have been waiting for my mate since I turned eighteen, and now that I have found you, you're perfect.” Just then Brandon’s eyes clouded over “my parents are here. Are you ready my love?” I nodded just as there was a knock on the door “come in mum and dad.” just then the door opened and in walked an older version of Brandon and an angelic woman who had the same eye colour as Brandon. “Mum, dad this is Alianna. Alianna this is my mum and dad alpha Marcus and Luna Michelle Fairchild.”

Luna Michelle approached me slowly so that she didn't scare me “it is a pleasure to meet you Alianna, and it's nice to see you finally awake.” Luna Michelle gently wiped away a stray tear off My cheek “You poor sweet child there is no need for the tears, you're safe now. Nobody will hurt you ever again. Please Alianna tell us what happened so we can find the people who hurt you.”
