The Luna of White Mountain

Chapter Seven- Mates

I nodded “My full name is Alianna Grace Morgenstern and I am sorry I was the daughter of Alpha Joseph David Morgenstern and Luna Lottie May Morgenstern of the Blue Lake Mountain Pack and a little over two weeks ago our Pack was attacked by rogues. I watched my whole pack die and then I watched them kill my parents. My father told me not to shift as the rogues were after me because of Amethyst, you see I am a silver wolf, he told me to run to White Mountain Pack and to find you because you were friends of my parents and that you will protect me and keep me safe. I ran as fast as I could in my human form and I was near my pack's border when I tripped over a fallen tree and was captured by rogues. One of the rogues said that the master would be happy that they have finally captured me, then everything went black. When I woke up I was locked in a cell, chained to the ceiling by silver chains and there was a table full of instruments on it that were used for torturing people. I was beaten by numerous instruments daily. At first I used to scream and cry out till I realised that every time I did they enjoyed it and would go in harder so I stopped screaming out and crying while they were attacking me. I would cry once I was alone again. I was lucky if I was fed once a day and even when they did it was scraps that they hadn’t finished. I remember one night I was in so much pain from being tortured that I prayed to the moon goddess to either help me escape that hell or just let me fall asleep and never wake up again.” I felt Brandon’s hand tighten on mine and when I looked at him his eyes were amber which meant his wolf was present “Brandon……Kojax I am okay. I am here and I am safe. I am going to continue now.” Brandon’s eyes returned to normal but his grip on my hand didn’t but gave it a squeeze to let me know that I could continue “On the night I prayed to the moon goddess, I fell asleep and she visited me in what she called my subconscious state and brought me to her garden. It was a lovely, peaceful place that I did actually think she let me die. She told me that she was sorry that it took her so long to come to me, but she was talking to her friend to get them to help me. Her friend is a witch and that she will come to me in a few days and get me out of that place and bring me here, but I wouldn’t remember how I got here, but she said that I would be safe here and that I would meet my fated mate. She then sent me back to that hell hole and all I had to do was wait. Two days after my encounter with the moon goddess the rogues came down to my cell again along with the one they call the master and started torturing me again. They were unhappy that I wouldn’t scream out. I heard one of the rogues tell the master not to worry, that he had ordered some new weapons that would soon have me screaming again. During their conversation the witch made me aware that she was here and I knew that my time was soon going to be up in that place. The master and his rogues didn’t know she was there and were leaving my cell, but before he left the master grabbed my chin and said that I will start screaming again when the new weapons arrive and then on the night of the full moon I would be screaming for a completely different reason. He had a plan that he was going to mate with me and make an heir. Once they left the witch showed herself to me and after introductions,she explained to me that she was my Amethyst witch, and just like Amethyst my wolf she has been with me my whole life. She explained that we get our powers from the diamonds we wear, hers is a necklace, my wolf has her on her forehead and I wear mine as a bracelet. She said once I arrive here and I am healed and meet my mate my powers will start to show and once we are mated they will become stronger. After she explained all that she started using her magic. I remember watching her and then I felt all tingly and I passed out and woke up here. The witch said she lived at The White Mountain Pack.”

I looked at Brandon, then I looked at his parents. Luna Michelle was crying while Brandon and Alpha Marcus had a look of rage on their faces like they were ready to kill. The room was deadly silent as I waited for one of them to say something “I can’t believe you are Joseph’s daughter, I honestly thought everyone died in the rogue attacks. I am so glad you didn’t and your father is right you are safe here. Nobody will hurt you again Alianna, you have our word.” I looked at Luna Michelle and smiled as I didn’t know what else to say. It must be a lot for them to take in.

“Alianna, you said the witch that saved you said she lived at White Mountain. What is her name as we have a convent living here and they are on our side, but you said she is your Amethyst witch, so that means she has part moon goddess in her as well. I only ask her name so that we can protect her as well.”

“Her name is Amara. If it wasn’t for her I wouldn’t be here.”

“Ahhhhhh young, sweet Amara. Yes we know her very well, she is a lovely person. I always wonder why she always looked like she was lost, now I guess we know why. If you will excuse myself and Michelle we will go and talk to Amara and see if we can find out anything else like who this person who calls himself the master is. Brandon I will mindlink you if we find anything out. Stay here and take care of this beautiful young lady, get to know her and start planning your future together.”

I looked at Brandon and blushed, did his father just say that “I will do dad and as for planning our future together I would rather do it back in the comfort of our home instead of here in the hospital.”

His father nodded “very well, that is totally understandable. We will be back later. I also think you should let Brody and Darius know what is going on and I think your brother’s and sister need to know. We will tell them and bring them by later to meet Alianna. Michelle my love it's time to leave these two in peace." With that Luna Michelle kissed me and Brandon on the forehead and left with her husband and I couldn’t help but smile as I watched them leave hand in hand.

I looked at Brandon who was also watching his parents leave and I realised he hasn’t said much since I told them what had happened “Brandon are you okay? You haven’t said much since I finished talking.”

“I am okay. I promise. I was just trying to control Kojax, he was very close to coming forward and taking over me to protect you and Amethyst, but I have explained to him that we will protect you both no matter what because you are our mate and nobody will ever harm you again.”

“Okay. I am glad you managed to calm him down, as I don’t think this room would have survived if Kojax took control of you as I remember my father’s wolf was massive and he was an alpha so I can only imagine how big Kojax would be. Just let Kojax know that I feel safe and protected with you both here and I can’t wait to become your mate officially.”

Brandon smiled at me “well in that case I was going to wait till you were out of hospital but as you said you can’t wait and well neither can I. Brandon Lewis Fairchild Alpha of the White Mountain Pack take you Alianna Grace Morgenstern daughter of the late great Alpha Joseph David Morgenstern of the Blue Lake Mountain Pack as my fated mate and future Luna of the White Mountain Pack.”

I couldn’t believe Brandon accepted me straight away even after what I just told him “I Alianna Grace Morgenstern daughter of the late great Alpha Joseph David Morganstern of the Blue Mountain Lake Pack accept you Brandon Lewis Fairchild as my fated mate and Alpha of the White Mountain Pack.” I suddenly felt our connection, I could feel every emotion he was feeling and right now he was extremely happy.

“You have just made me the happiest man and Alpha in the world. Can I kiss you my love?” I nodded and with that Brandon moved in closer and kissed me. When our lips met I felt the mate bond really connect and my body felt like it had fireworks going off inside it.

Brandon pulled away from and smiled, while I started breathing again and when I looked into his eyes all I could see was pure love and I knew that I was home.
