The Luna of White Mountain

“Wakey, wakey little wolf. It’s time for our morning fun with you.” I opened my eyes to see that I was still in a dark and disgusting cell and realised that I had the same nightmare I have been having for the past two weeks since that dreadful day that I don’t want to remember. I lost everyone I loved that day and ended up being kidnapped by the rogues and locked in this horrid cell and chained to the wall by silver chains that burned my flesh everytime I moved and that the wounds on my back that have been put there from being whipped and beaten with silver over and over again multiple times a day are not healing because my wolf can’t heal me while I chained up with silver. I looked at the wolf in front of me and it was the same one that came in every morning to start my day of torture even in his human form he still looked like a rogue and I couldn’t look at him and he hated it when I wasn’t looking at him “b***h look at me when I am talking to you.”

I looked up from the floor and stared at him straight in the eyes “why. Even when I do look at you, you still f*****g beat me so what is the issue if I look at you or not.” I knew running my mouth to these guys wasn’t a good idea but what can I say I have always spoken before actually thinking about whether it is a good idea or not.

“You little b***h. How many times do I have to tell you not to speak back to me? When will you learn?” and with that the first whip of the day had begun. In the beginning I would have screamed but I soon came to realise that when I did scream it made the rogues enjoy themselves just a little too much, so I learnt very quickly that if I didn’t make a sound the beatings didn’t last that long. I focused on a crack in the wall above my cell door to keep me from making a noise while this rogue decided to whip my back twenty plus times with a silver whip. The pain and the burning was absolutely painful that I knew when he stopped and left me alone I would cry silent tears.

I needed to find a way out of this place and find my way to the White Mountain Pack just like my daddy told me to do and I will, I will make it to that pack and hopefully be free and safe from this hell hole. I don't know how long this arsehole was beating me for, but all I do know is that he used multiple different weapons today because I decided to answer him back. When he finally left me alone I slumped down against the wall gently trying not to let my back touch the wall as it was in so much pain from the constant whipping it just took and I let the silent tears fall. I looked up at the ceiling praying to the moon goddess “Please. If you're up there and you are real then please I am begging you either give me the strength to get through this and escape somehow or please just let me die. I have lost everyone I have ever loved in this world because of these rouges and they want me for some reason or another. Please moon goddess help me out one way or another.”

I sat here in what felt like forever before I finally fell asleep “wake up Alianna.” the female voice said. It was a soft voice, not a voice I have ever heard before and when I opened my eyes and they finally adjusted to my surroundings I was in a beautiful garden, with bright colourful flowers everywhere. “Where am I? I have finally died and escaped that hell hole of a cell?”

“No child you are not dead” I turned a look in the direction of the voice and there stood in front of me was a beautiful blond woman, dressed in a long white flowing dress and had lights glowing around her.

“Who……. Who are you?”

The woman looked at me and smiled “you prayed to me not so long ago and I thought I would show you that I am real and I am going to help you Alianna”

“Oh my god your…….your the moon goddess? I don’t understand how I got here, wherever here is.”

“I brought you Alianna through your subconscious state and here is my garden where I bring my troubled children to talk to them and help them through difficult situations. I apologise that it has taken me a while to bring you here. I was talking to a friend of mine that is going to help you out of that horrible place. Alianna you will make it to White Mountain Pack that my child I promise you but you won’t know how you got there because my friend that is going to help you is a witch and she has the powers to remove you but it is going to take a few days for her to arrive in your cell but when she does do not be afraid or else it won’t work, but also when White Mountain Pack find you on their land they are going to think you are not going to know that you are the daughter of alpha and luna Morgenstern as they would have heard that everyone from the Blue Lake Mountain Pack had died. They will treat you well though.”

I stared at the moon goddess as she explained about her friend and that I will be finally escaping the cell and knowing that will be in a matter of days I breathed a sigh of relief “but moon goddess what do I tell them when they find me? How will they know I am not a rogue?”

“Alianna please call me Selene, moon goddess sounds too formal and at first they won’t know that you're not a rogue but an event will happen within the first hour of you arriving at the White Mountain Lake Pack which will make them realise that you are not a rogue. You will have to explain to them who you are and what happened to your parents and your pack. The rogues will come looking for you but you will be safe and protected at White Mountain Pack.”

“I understand moon….. I mean Selene. Thank you so much for answering my prayers. I honestly thought I was all alone in this world after losing everyone I had ever loved and I thought I would never meet my mate. Now that I know I am not alone and I will be free again, I have the chance to meet my mate and be loved again.”

“Yes you will Alianna, but you were never alone. I have always been here with you and so has Amethyst even though you can’t feel her at the moment she is still with, she just cannot heal you to the silver is out of your system which will happen at White Mountain Pack along with meeting your mate there as well, and before you ask yes he will love you unconditionally and no I am not going to tell you who is. Alianna it is time for you to go back now, prepare yourself for my friend, stay strong my child. I will always be with you and I’ll see you again once you're at White Mountain. Go back Alianna. Go back.”

I didn’t have a chance to argue and ask Selene to keep me longer in her beautiful garden and I never got a chance to ask her if she has seen my parents or anyone from my pack. I had woken up back in this dark, damp and smelly cell but knowing I won’t be here much longer gave me hope. I just had to endure a few more days of pain and then I will be free.
