Eric grew suspicious of Margaret when he saw her hanging out with Chelsea all the time. He saw the way Margaret looked at Stella in the cafeteria on her first day. Stella knew how to insult people but there was something odd with Margaret's eyes. Like she was preparing for something big. He couldn't talk to Chelsea. He wanted to warn Andrew about Margaret but when he find out that Andrew was falling for Margaret, he decided to maintain a low profile.
He did some digging of his own and found out about Margaret's past. Her parents died three years ago. First her mother and then her father. Police couldn't find her sister's body. When he further did his research on her, he found out that Margaret had no grandmother. She lived all alone. Then why lie? Lie to her friends; to everyone.
