Chelsea reached the washroom and locked the door. She didn't want anyone to see her like that. If Zelda or any of her friends saw Chelsea with a red and watery eye, they definitely would have made a fuss out of nothing.
Chelsea pulled down the lower part of her eye with her fingers and slowly try to open it. She felt something in her eyes as she tried to close them. She splashed some cold water in her eyes.
She looked in the mirror, the lower part of her right eye turned red. She couldn't stop the tears streaming down her face. She could see nothing. Every time she took the risk of closing her eyes, it hurt more than the previous time. She took some water in her palm and sprinkled it all over her face.
