The trial has ended, my dad was proven wrong by all the evidence our lawyer and sentenced to jail for 10 years. My mom has divorced with him a week ago, and requested for $15.000 every months for our needs and my dad accepted it. It was a small amount for him, he made billion at that time. He even could shorten his punishment by bribed the police or judge. But I thought he deserves longer than that for abusing my mom and used her as s*x doll for nearly 10 years. We spent our Christmas at London. My mom brought me here so I could take a break from my anxiety but deeper than that, I got traumatic with man whose dressed in suit. I labelled each of them as bad guy, same with my father. The scene of my dad beaten me kept playing over and over on my mind, sometime on my dream which was uncomfortable at all. I barely eat, I barely smile and I cry, almost all the time. It kept haunting me. My heart racing every time, and sometime I felt it burning. I stayed beside my mom or my brother, tightly hugged them and they would soothe my back to calmed me down. My brother, he used to it. So he still acted normal like nothing has happened, he even got happier like we supposed to be. My mother was as stressed as me and she decided to moved us to Los Angeles. She bought a house in Beverly Hills. It was a big two story houses for three of us. Each of us has our own room and still has two extra room. It has a small garden on the back of our houses and the garage was enough to park two to four cars. The house was painted white and also all the room. It was easier to look for furniture we needs because the colors suit everything. We have two nanny, one for cleaning our house and cook and the other one, watching us, the kids, including cleaning the mess we made. And yeah, we have one swimming pool. We spent our New Year barbecued on our back yard, with my mom friends and their kids. I got lot of friends from there that stayed by my side all the time. Christie Allen, the blonde with gorgeous blue-gray eyes. My first friends from Los Angeles. We met few times before that barbecue party. Her mom was a popular fashion models Regina Allen and her dad Christian Allen owned an company specialized in Export and Import. She has three elder brother and two of them has black hair from her mom. Mackenzie Singh. You could tell she was Indian by only hearing her names. She has curly black hair with dark brown eyes. Her nose was delicate and she has white skin. Her dad, Madhav Singh was a Internal Medicine doctor and her mom, Melissa Singh was a socialite. She has twins elder brother, Matt and Max Singh. Jonas Hamilton, the boy that has a pair of piercing blue eyes with dark brown hair and dimples on both of his cheeks. His dad was a popular actor, Jack Hamilton and his mom, Jess Hamilton was socialite. He has two twins little sister whose still 1 years old by that time, Jennifer and Jessica. Arnold Willies, the boy with super gorgeous green eyes. The most selfless from all of us. He liked to help anyone he met and be your friends in a minute. We met on supermarket and his mom, Anastasia Willies was my mom best friend on elementary and she was a high-end designer. His dad, Alexander Willies was a businessman. He lived in the mansion where you could hide for 3 days without someone knew. Alexandria Willies, She is Arnold Twins. She has light brown eyes just like mine. She was just as selfless as Arnold. She has super straight brown hair that made me envy because I have the wavy one. The last but not least, Carter Lynch. He was from England and spoke perfect British accent. At first, I was confused about the words that came out from his mouth but later, I understand. He was the blonde boy with green-brown eyes. I ever fought with Alexandria about his eyes color because it was so confusing. His dad, Calvin Lynch was a successful businessman literally my dad business partner and his mom, Natalie Lynch owned make up brand. He has two little sister, Catherine and Catarine and an elder brother, Nicholas Lynch. It was the first time I could forget about my dad for a while. We were playing hide and seek, Police and robber, freeze tag and Marco Polo. "Guys get out from the pool," Mr. Willies said in stern tone. It was 10.30 p.m. when we finished playing. We showered and changes to brand new pajamas, ate what they served for us and waiting for the new year. I looked to the sky, stars were shining and the sky was navy blue. I turned my head into another side and found a full yellow moon. The light night breeze accompanied us the whole night. When I touched my skin, it was cold. "Why it takes so long to new year?" I pouted, my right hands held my hotdog and my eyes looking straight to the pool with full of disappointment. "Hey, It's 30 minutes more. Come on, we will watch beautiful fireworks," Michael said in excitement. He was afraid if I sad again and all the bad memories would across my mind. "Hey my prettiest sister, come on, show me your pretty smiles and I'll get chocolate for you!" Only him who knew how to calm my nerves. The end of my lips curved upward and a dimple showed up from my right cheeks. He took out a Ferrero Rocher from his pockets, opened the gold wraps and shoved it to my mouth. "It's too big," I mumbled but he didn't care, he let out a little smirks on his face. "You're devil!" "Why baby?" My mom came towards me, her face splashing worried. Maybe she has heard. I opened my mouth which was full of chocolate and pointed to Michael. "Michael, why are you doing this to your little sister?" She folded her arms and stared sternly to my brother. Michael put his head down and mumbled sorry. "Don't do it next time okay? and baby chew it slowly." "What's wrong Miranda?" Mrs. Willies clapped my mom shoulder. My mom jumped little and looked at her. "Nothing, just kids things," My mom replied and a smiled appears from her face. I slowly chewed my chocolate while leering to my brother that was talking about games with Matt Singh. My brother put his arms around my neck, I frowned. I would throw my fist on his face if I could, but I couldn't. "IT"S NEW YEAR," My brothers said. All of us looked at the sky which was full of fireworks. There were pink, green and yellow fireworks. Our parents recorded it with their camera. It was so gorgeous. Five minutes non-stop Fireworks and probably the best night I've ever been. When the fireworks finished, my nanny begun to clean the mess we made and all my friends decide to went home. It was the first and the best New Year in L.A. "Brush your teeth and go to sleep," My mom ordered. Both of us sprinted upstairs, got our toothbrush and brushed our teeth. I left my brother on the bathroom and jumped to my bed. I slept on my side so I could see the beautiful sky and houses from my windows. The calmness and the clear mind that I missed. All in here, in L.A.
