Piper had made it to the end of her second days of college courses with a strange feeling of deja vu haunting her all day. It was the same, yet not the same as the day before. Different classes and different conversations, but there was always that feeling of 'been there, done that'.
She walked into her dorm room to find her roommate- also a freshman- sitting on the couch and listening to music on her iPhone.
"How was class?" Lisette Gorman asked her roomie while taking out one of her earbuds.
"Fine. Did you even go to yours?" she asked in turn. Only the second day of class ad the girl had managed to miss one class the previous day because she 'wasn't feeling it'.
Piper liked her roommate and they had bonded over their mutual love of supernatural genre television shows and similar tastes in music, but they had little else in common. Piper gave it half a semester before this girl voluntarily dropped out due to lack of interest.
"I went to one of them," the girl shrugged. Piper walked away to the bedroom they shared and rolled her eyes. It was all well and good that Lisette's family came from money, but for those who actually had to work to get here, Piper had little tolerance for her roommate's blase attitude and they tended to only really speak when it came to watching tv together. Their particular favorite at the moment being 'Shadowhunters'. Other than that, it was strictly professional between the two. However, Piper had a lot on her mind and no one else to talk to that she knew of.
She toyed around a bit with the idea of speaking to Lisette about Alex's demeanor. It was confusing as hell and she was unsure of what to make of it. Perhaps a third party's opinion could help. It certainly couldn't hurt at this point.
After washing her minimal makeup off her face, Piper stepped from the bathroom and started to cook some ramen noodles. She wasn't particularly hungry, but she knew if she didn't eat now, she would most likely forget to later and wake up in the middle of the night with a grumbling tummy. It wouldn't have been the first time. She usually got that way when doing her art work. She could stay up for hours completing a piece and realize she hadn't eaten in a good ten to twelve hours. So, she ate when she remembered.
"Want some noodles?" Piper looked over to her roommate.
"Nah, I'll probably head to the cafeteria in a few and get something to nosh on there," her roommate told her.
"Okay," she replied and went back to heating up the noodles.
When she was done with them and was sitting at the small dining table by the kitchen and letting the noodles cool, Piper looked over to her roommate again.
"Can I ask your opinion on something Liz?" Piper asked her roommate.
"Sure, what's up?" Liz took out her earbuds and sat up a bit, a sign she was ready to listen intently.
"I met this guy the other day-" Piper started.
"Hmmmm, I'm already liking the sound of this," Liz piped up.
"Oh hush and let me speak," Piper said with a smile. Liz pretended to zip her mouth and throw away the key.
Piper explained what happened in the art class and then went on to explain the odd encounter with the same guy the next day. There was a long silence after Piper completed speaking and Liz had a pensive look on her face.
"Maybe he was just f*****g with you?" Liz said finally.
"Yeah, that's what I thought too at first," Piper replied with a shrug. "But he seemed so sincere that it really had me off balance. Like we had been chatting for the first time ever. It was... odd."
"He sounds odd," Liz agreed. "Are you sure he wasn't those people with multiple personalities? Like on "United States of Tara'?"
Piper thought that over. "Possibly- but highly unlikely. It's rare and it wasn't like he was completely different. Just like he had amnesia and couldn't remember what happened the day before."
"Like on that movie '50 First Dates'?" Liz seemed to think in terms movies instead of real life. She was a movie buff and seemed to prefer it to reality. Of course everything turns out all neat and tidy in the movies- unlike real life.
"Again- most likely not," Piper said. She didn't know why she even broached the subject with her roommate. She was thick in the head, this one.
Piper went to the sink to clean up her dinner. "He's most likely f*****g with me as I first thought."
"What are you going to do about it?" Liza asked.
"Ignore him," Piper stated. "Maybe he'll go away then."
"Hmmmph. Not likely- but let me know how that works out for you," Liz said.
Lisette Gorman may have been dumb in book sense, but she knew the ways of men better than her naive roommate and was doubtful. If a man was interested enough to confuse you with their games, they were plenty patient enough to make said games last.

Jay was sitting alone at the cafeteria table he had frequently sat at with his brother and friends for the past few days and quietly wrote. He had finished his poem from his creative writing course during the duration of the class and he was simply tweaking it now. As he thought of how to revise it, he found himself constantly doodling the same thing on the margins of the paper.
Madison.
He had gotten halfway done when a change in air current signaled someone coming up to the table.
"And who is Madison precisely?" Erik came up and sat down next to Jay attempting to take the piece of paper he was currently writing on.
"No one-" Jay grumbled. "Don't touch that you ass."
"Can't be no one- hey Ken!" Erik called over his shoulder. "Know anyone by the name of Madison? e.e. cummings over here won't spill the beans on some Madison chick."
"Nope- never heard of her. Woman troubles already Jay?" Ken came up with a full dinner tray and sat down on the opposite side of the table from Erik.
"No- just some chick in my creative writing class," he said frowning. "She was my partner for today."
"Hmmm and maybe a partner somewhere else soon too, eh?" Erik ribbed him.
"Ugh- do you think with anything other than your d**k Erik?" Jay asked.
"Not really," he tells him with a shrug. "Haven't found use for it yet."
"You know the IQ in a room drops by at least twenty points every time you enter it," Jay stated.
"Yes, but the sexy factor doubles," Erik stated as he wiggled his eyebrows. That set off a chain reaction of rolling eyes between the other two men.
"How's the view in the back of your skull, bro?" Alex had arrived and was sitting down at the table, his book bag slung over his shoulder.
"It's better than watching this fuckboy over here," Jay stated, gesturing to Erik who was busy wolfing down a sub sandwich.
"What he do now?" Alex asked.
"Just being the cocky, nosy prick he always is," Jay threw back.
"And this is new- how?" Alex inquired.
"It's not- just getting old quick."
"So this Madison- is she hot?" Erik asked after swallowing and completely ignoring their jibes at him.
"Who's Madison?" Alex asked.
"f**k people- just some chick in my creative writing class," he replied.
"Please- you've been doodling her name all over your damned paper," Erik retorted.
"So?"
In tandem all the other men rolled their eyes at him making them look like a table of epileptic 18 year olds.
"So who's the chick bro? Get her digits?"
"None of your f*****g business," Jay bit out.
"So that's a no," Ken supplied.
"I did as a matter of fact- see?" Jay pulled out his phone and showed the new contact saved into it.
"Aces dude!" Erik put his hand up for a high five.
"The f**k away from me with that s**t," Jay spat out at him.
"What?" Erik looked bewildered. "I'm merely congratulating you on scoring p***y on your first week of college."
"I haven't scored anything but her phone number you p***y hound."
"It's only a few steps between phone number and p***y," Erik pointed out. For Erik this was true. Women seemed to flock to the obnoxious ass and he already had more numbers than he knew what to do with. It only bolstered his ego and his attitude was going to be insufferable if this pattern continued.
"I wonder how people can stand you," Jay told him.
"They tolerate me," Erik said with a lopsided grin.

Later on that night, Jay and Alex were laying in bed and sitting there just thinking. They had some music on low as it helped them fall asleep when they were away from home.
"Dude," Alex called over to Jay.
"What?" Jay asked.
"This Madison chick-"
"f**k, don't start with me Alex," Jay countered.
"No- seriously," Alex said sitting up a bit in bed. "I was thinking."
"Did it hurt?" Jay asked with a smile in his voice.
"Hysterical." Jay could almost hear the smirk in his brother's voice. "I was thinking that if you can ask this chick out, like on a date and I can get Piper to go with me- we can have a double date."
"This isn't high school Alex," Jay responded. "Double dating with twins is just f*****g weird."
"Are you saying that our parents are weird?" Alex asked with a smile in his voice.
"They- they're just different is all," Jay retorted.
"Yeah, it's even weirder than going on a double date," Alex stated. "Going on a double date and missing the fourth person."
"Ever really wonder how f*****g kinky s**t got with them?" Jay asked, knowing it would probably shut his brother up.
"Ugh, I don't even wanna think about that you perv," the sound of a pillow moving could be heard and Jay was sure he was covering his ear with it and would soon try to fall asleep just to escape this conversation.
"Do you think they both penetrated her in one hole and did they go front door/back door?" Jay asked, not bothering to hide the smile in his voice.
"Oh my God," Alex said and started to sing loudly until he was certain Jay had shut up.
"I f*****g hate you bro," Alex told his sibling.
"Love you too," Jay told him. "Now shut the f**k up and go to bed before I start talking about and Mom and Dad's s*x life again. I can go into more detail if you like."
"Yeah, I'm cool without it dude." Jay heard Alex rustle the covers as he tried to get comfortable in his bed.
Jay turned away from his brother and faced the other wall. Once he closed his eyes he could find all his thoughts heading back to the topic of Madison. He thought of her lips and her sparkling eyes and found himself wondering what her body looked and felt like under the dress she wore.
He felt himself getting hard and he wondered if his brother was asleep yet. He wasn't averse to rubbing one out on his own, but with his twin now sharing a room with him, it didn't feel right attempting to.
He tried to think of unsexy things and found himself unable to. Looking behind him he saw that his brother was facing away from him and it made him feel a bit better about taking care of things down below.
Slipping his hand down his sleep shorts, he gripped his d**k tightly. He was surprised at how quickly he had become aroused just thinking about Madison. As he thought more about her face and body, he found it was easy to get his release. Once his fantasy had gotten Madison on her knees with her lips wrapped tightly around his length, he felt himself shooting off and he pressed his face into the pillow to muffled his pants. He could keep the moans down, but his breathing he had no control over.
Once he could breath evenly again and he had used a sock to clean up the mess, he closed his eyes hoping sleep would take him.
"Jerking off to Madison?" Alex asked.
"f**k dude!" Jay cried out at his brother.
"Well s**t, it's not like I haven't done the same thinking about Piper," Alex told him.
"TMI dude, TMI." It was Jay's turn to muffle out the sound of his brother talking.
"Sweet dreams bro," Alex called.
"I f*****g hate you so much right now," Jay told him.
