“Felix, can we talk for a second?” I asked my Beta who nodded.
“We will see you at the training grounds,” I said to Jade who nodded.
I kissed her forehead and then walked off to my office.
“What’s wrong?” he asked me and I sighed at this.
“You remember that night? When Jade was told that we were going to get married?” I asked him and he nodded.
“She did something to you back then. You just started screaming in pain and blood was coming out of your eyes and ears,” I said and he frowned.
“How can I forget that day? It was the first time in my life I have ever felt such excruciating pain,” he said and I frowned.
