“CALM DOWN,” Onyx said and I took a deep breath.
I was about to say something but I caught Tia’s scent.
Everyone else caught it as well and Mom got up from her chair and wiped away her tears.
The moment she walked in Mom ran to her and pulled her into a hug.
When they pulled away Tia looked at me and then at Jade.
“I couldn’t get the words you said out of my head,” she said to Jade.
I looked at Jade.
Did she say something to stop Tia from leaving?
“Well, I am glad that I was able to help. I am going to work now,” she said getting up.
“No, please stay here,” Tia said and she looked at me.
“I am going to marry him, you will not tell me how I should live my life,” she said firmly.
