I ran out of the room with my heart almost leaping out of my chest. I didn’t look back until I got the quarters and slammed the door shut. The entire room was empty which meant the girls were still at breakfast. I paced back and forth, chewing my nails with my thoughts halfway spiraling through my head.
I have messed with the wrong alphas.
No, I have poked the devils and this was my punishment.
His deal echoed in my head. The alpha proposed a marriage deal with me. A nobody, the unwanted daughter. For the past years that the Shadowcrest brothers have existed, no one has heard of them marrying, even though there have been lots of packs wanting to form an alliance through it.
