I exhale. Today is the last day of the whole celebration and I yet to meet with either Boone or his Luna Queen. I had the chance to do so yesterday, but I wasn’t ready. My brother, Alpha David, and his wife, Luna Myra, were amongst the guests who were walking towards the newlywed to wish them happiness. I was supposed to join them but I chickened out at the last minute, feigning headache.
Boone had reached out before the whole event. Not long after he found the Luna Queen, he called me. He was kind and sympathetic but he was over the moon. I congratulated him, telling him that I was happy for him. He then thanked me and hoped that the Moon Goddess would bless me with my own fated mate soon.
