With a mischievous glint in his eye, he let out a low, rumbling chuckle and sauntered towards me. His fingers tightened around my chin. His breath tickled her ear as he leaned in and whispered, "I crave you, Delilah." "I'm sorry, I don't understand. Could you please clarify?" I asked, my curiosity piqued as I wondered about his intentions. "My heart yearned to sway to the rhythm with none other than . . ." His lips move silently, barely audible. He appeared to be completely tongue-tied. My heart sank as I witnessed his hand slipping away from mine, but I refused to let go and held on tightly. I arched an eyebrow and looked at the person in front of me.
