“I'll text you later, alright?” I nod as Mandy hugs me, waving as she jogs off, turning to wave and smile back at me, making me chuckle at her unintentionally penguin waddle. We had just gotten back from our morning run, and she was now going back home to get ready for work. Hanging out with her was always a soothing experience, and as it stood, she had not only won my brother's heart but that of myself too. It was funny how I was now counting down to her due date even more eagerly than the parents of the unborn baby themselves. I just couldn't wait to be an aunt and spoil the kid in every way possible.
