The years passed like the gentle flow of a peaceful river.
Under the rule of the Dragon King and Queen Amanda, the Dragon Kingdom became stronger than ever. Great castles stood proudly beneath the clouds, villages flourished, and the people lived without fear. Children laughed in the streets while dragons soared across the bright blue sky.
Prince Kadosh had grown into a wise and fearless warrior. Beside him stood his beloved wife, Princess Angelina, whose kindness won the hearts of the people. Together, they were blessed with a son, Prince Zuki, a cheerful boy with bright golden eyes and a heart full of curiosity.
Life in the kingdom was peaceful.
Meanwhile, on Earth, time continued to move differently. Human generations came and went. Children were born, grew into adults, grew old, and passed away. Kingdoms rose and fell. Great cities were built and forgotten. Unlike the dragons, humans could not live for hundreds of years or possess extraordinary powers.
One warm afternoon, Queen Amanda was walking alone through the royal palace.
"The palace feels unusually quiet today," she whispered with a smile.
Instead of returning to her chambers, she decided to explore an old section of the palace that had been abandoned for centuries.
As she walked through the silent hallway, thick dust covered the stone floor, and ancient paintings hung on the walls. Suddenly, something caught her attention.
At the end of the corridor stood a gigantic stone door unlike anything she had ever seen.
The door was taller than three dragons standing on one another's shoulders. Strange glowing symbols were carved across its surface.
Amanda stepped closer.
"What language is this?" she murmured.
She gently brushed away the dust.
The letters shone with a faint golden light.
"I've never seen these writings before..."
She carefully copied a few of the symbols into a small notebook before hurrying back to the throne room.
The Dragon King was discussing royal matters when Amanda entered.
"My king," she said, breathing heavily. "I have discovered something extraordinary."
The Dragon King looked up with concern.
"What happened, Amanda?"
"I found a hidden stone door deep inside the old palace. It is covered with ancient writings I've never seen before."
The Dragon King's smile disappeared.
For a long moment, he remained silent.
Just then, Prince Kadosh entered the hall.
"Father? Mother? Is something wrong?"
Amanda turned toward him.
"Kadosh, I found an ancient door hidden beneath the palace."
Kadosh frowned.
"An ancient door? I've lived here all my life, and I've never heard of such a place."
The Dragon King slowly stood from his throne.
"There is something I have never told either of you."
The room became completely silent.
"That door has existed since the very foundation of the Dragon Kingdom," he said quietly.
Amanda and Kadosh stared at him in shock.
"My father told me about it. His father told him. And his father before him. Every Dragon King has guarded its secret."
"What's behind it?" Kadosh asked.
The Dragon King shook his head.
"No one knows."
Amanda blinked in surprise.
"No one?"
"Our ancestors tried everything. They struck it with enchanted weapons. They breathed dragon fire upon it. They even called the greatest magicians in history."
"And?" Kadosh asked.
"The door was never scratched."
Amanda whispered, "Impossible..."
"It is protected by a power greater than dragons," the king replied. "No one has ever opened it."
He paused before continuing.
"Our ancestors believed the Ancient Door once saved both the Dragon Kingdom and Earth during a forgotten age."
"Their writings say it is part of a covenant made by the Heavenly King—a promise beyond our understanding."
Amanda looked at the king with wide eyes.
"And what lies beyond the door?"
The Dragon King lowered his voice.
"They believed it leads to another realm."
Kadosh took a step forward.
"Has anyone ever entered?"
The king answered firmly,
"No."
"No one is permitted to enter... if the time has not come."
The three of them stood in silence.
Outside, the wind suddenly grew stronger.
Far beneath the palace...
Behind the Ancient Door...
A faint golden light flickered for the first time in countless centuries.
